I've been giving this(first a cassette, now a cd) as a gift to children since it first appeared in the mid-80's. It's as fresh and wonderful today as it was then. I know many children who grew up knowing the words to all the songs and internalizing the wonderful messages they impart.Check out other cd's by Red.

Very powerfull stuff-- although powerfull

Just what I was looking for.......2003-03-26

This single is perfect for anyone who (like me) loved the track "Funny Break (One is Enough)" off the album "The Altogether". Or for anyone who's a fan of Orbital, for that matter - the track is a fine example of their work. If you've never heard it, it's a fairly slow and rythmic track, with excellent vocals.

This album contained both the original song AND every remix I know of for it: both of Layo and Bushwacka!'s mixes, Plump DJ's mix, and the Weekend Raver's mix (that last one's on the second disc of the American release of "The Altogether", by the way - the others are currently only found on the singles). Basically, it's both of the singles: "Funny Break (One is Enough) Pt. 1 and Pt. 2. The only thing missing is a completely different track on the Pt. 2 disc, "Beelzebeat" - but that one is also on the second disc of "The Altogether" (again, the American release).

Great tracks, but it might be redundant for some people........2003-03-26

All three tracks are great, especially if you're a fan of Funny Break (One is Enough). However, if you already have Beelzebeat (for example, from the second disc of the American release of "The Altogether"), you might want to buy the other import (neither Pt. 1 nor Pt. 2), as it includes the two Funny Break remixes here, plus all of Pt. 1.

5 stars solely for the Plump mix. Forget the other two mixes...the Plump DJ mix is everything a breaks mix should be- groovy, breaksy without beeing cheesy- and funk, funk, funk. The Plump DJs are out to conquer the world.

You can save your self some pain and just get this instead of getting the japanese import for beelzebeat, Plus you get the other two songs contained. Orbital is breaking new grounds once again .. I can't wait for the DVD!
