Great Debut.......2005-10-17
When I first heard this cd when it came out, i thought, Wow, a guy that sounds like Eminem and is a Christian. awesome. Then I got to pick up the cd and hear it for myself, and I was hooked. These songs are all awesome. Some of my favorites are 1,2,3, Keep It Moving, Do What I Do, Integrety and my most favorite is They Know Not, which they left off of the 2004 reissue for some stupid reason, along with all of the skits found on this original cd. The original version is worth hunting out, as is the reissue.
krap krap krap, what a waste ot time and money.......2005-08-22
this cd is horrible, it's just as bad as it pronounced five two AND WHAT IS WITH HIM AND T. CLEAZY, that was john's!!!!!!!! GGGRRRR. this is not hip hop/rap it is just krap, i must give kj credit for that he has created his own style of music, KRAP! i can't stand this nerdy old geezer, he is horrible. don't buy this. i rate it .5 out of 10
AWESOME MAN!!!.......2004-08-05
Of all the KJ albums this is my 2nd favorite (Collaborations is #1) and this album is a definitely good debut album! Lots of guest appearance enhance KJ's style and make the album more enjoyable than it already was! This is a must-buy for any christian rap fan!!!
A bit of knowledge for Kaleigh.......2004-07-01
Let me first start off by saying that I have been involved with hip hop since I was 7-8 yrs old from old school passion to new school fashion. From the basements of Fab 5 freddie to the basement of Big Tigger and so on and so fourth. In between my time in Hip hop I saw the culture take a turn for the worst and fell in love with the underground. Gang Starr, Black Moon, Deepspace 5, Mars Ill, Sev Static, Tunnel Rats, Dj Premier, Da Beatminerz, and Pete Rock. Along with Casual, Afu Ra, Jeru and the dirty rotten crew, Jean Grey and my list goes even deeper in a countless number of others that establish purpose, inspiration, and where the God given gift of hip hop is truly represented. When I tuned into the Kj-52 website I decided to check him out here in the amazon website to see what the fuss was about and I came across the message written by Kaleigh. I don't know who you are, I don't know your age and I'm not here to destroy what it is that you are saying but to bring light to the subject lets just make that very clear. I can say that I was once in your position but you know sin only last but a season. This is the kind of thing that can cause one to minister to another because 75% of the (well I wont say artists because an artist can take a gift and use it to establish some sort of purpose. I will just say writers) sadly enough to say have never lived the life spoken of in their albums. This is often made very clear when the people who HAVE lived that lifestyle are underground and not played by the media( example: look at previous crip and blood, Mc Eight, Moochie Mac, Killarmy albums, and a list of others who I will not go into at this present moment. You'll just have to do the homework, pick up a source or any hip hop related magazine, and pay close attention to how some of these artists are advertised. Also pay VERY CLOSE attention to hip hop interviews!) Its one thing to be in an environment to come out and talk about it. But its another to be in such an environment, come out, and talk about how Jesus brought you out! Dj Premier says it best "I tell guru all the time watch what you say on the mic because you will be tested". One thing you said.....i mean talkin bout god while spittin ova a rap beat aint music and by the way the song bout the greatest MC being god or wudeva hes wrong itz 50 cent. This is completely false. You evidently need a collision course in Genesis. God created heaven and earth. You see everything God made is good and he gave us talents used to glorify him. Sooo if you really do the homework God is the greatest MC. It's only bad when people take the talent and perverse it for their own sick wants. God gave 50cent a talent and he took that talent, perverted it, and simply sold himself out for money point blank. Did you know that 50cent to was an underground MC before he became mainstream? My guess is probably not. It is mentioned in the bible about planting a seed and bearing much fruit and if 50 is not careful....... Well Ill let you do the math. I would also like to touch on something else you said which went along the lines of.....i mean come on this guy probably aint eva been to the projects before now maybe if he goes to the ghetto and sees what really goes down he can come back and be a REAL rapper..... This statement was obviously not carefully thought of before putting it on screen. Let me tell you something, my aunt lives in the gutter parts of Chicago and I have been there many times and so have my friends but there is absolutely no way I would want to have any part in that lifestyle that I have seen. That type of lifestyle is all the more reason to say "my Lord" and come to Christ. What you should have said was... If he went to the ghetto and sees what really goes down, he would take that experience, line it up with the word of God, and minister through a future album about what not to get into, what the word of God says about that way of living, love them as Jesus commanded, and to minister to them. Now I've written probably a book which isn't even a tip of the iceberg of what I have to say about the overall subject but I'm telling what I know and what I have witnessed and like I said I am not here to bash you. My point is this.... Obviously you like hip hop right? Right. Study the thing. PAY ATTENTION. I mean its only good because the media says so and puts it out there. I call the people you mention writers because they write obviously but that's just me being nice. A true artist can serve purpose and the people, and when you serve the people, you serve God. Pay close attention to the lyrics most importantly to the people you call "real". And if you don't get any knowledge out of it, then it's worthless. I truly believe you're beautiful in Gods eyes simply because you're his creation. Open your eyes and ears. I know because I had to catch myself and open up to a whole new perspective. I'm 26 now I have been saved since I was 7 and God has shown me great and mighty things and he will for you too....If you let him!!!
Real Rap.......2004-06-05
Hey yo this is real rap and this is for that Kat from the Bronx. You need to know that GOD is the best cause he made all of them rappers cause he gave them their skills. And if you need to know cusing doesnt make rap cause old school rappers didnt say bad words. You is an ignorant person by saying this nonsence staff. Yo my rap skills is hard when i hit harder than Tyson in a Boxing match. God the king of rap, stop and shut your mouth this is christian rap dont diss if you cant handle it. Peace 2 the Homies I.E. If you like HOCKEY and PUNK ROCK, this is for you!.......1998-10-20
The Hanson Brothers combine wall rattling punk rock with witty hockey-related lyrics that are sure to put a smile on your face. It sounds like a gimmic but these guys back it up with inventive and high-powered music that stands on it's own. I have a punk record store (Zed Records in Long Beach, Ca) and this is a top seller!

WOW.......2005-08-11
I just happened to see this CD sitting on the shelf for 10 bux...so I looked at it. Its two discs long so i figured I should buy it, its only 10 bux. EVERY SONG ON THOSE TWO DISCS IS GOOD! I liked it so much i went and bought volume 1 the next day...which was only 6 bux.
Hip-Hop At Its Finest.......2005-06-03
Whoa, what a line up of underrated artist. Even though I've already had most of the songs, I was still waiting for this one to drop. Some songs are new such as "Magic Hour", "100 Bars", and "Oh No", which is like a little preview of the artist new album. Some songs were rare releases and some were just put on there, but hey if you missed the opportunity to pick up these artist previous CD's, you get a little taste right here. This is a must get.

Good christian hip-hop.......2006-02-27
KJ's first album, with a street old-school flavor and some good collabo's. Best tracks would be all around the world, 123, keep it moving, 12 round knockout, and the hardway. It's good, but not his best.
Missing my favorite song but adds several other good ones.......2005-10-17
When I first heard the original version of cd when it came out, i thought, Wow, a guy that sounds like Eminem and is a Christian. awesome. Then I got to pick up the cd and hear it for myself, and I was hooked. These songs are all awesome. Some of my favorites are 1,2,3, Keep It Moving, Do What I Do, and Integrety. However, for this reissue they left off my favorite song from the original, They Know Not, along with all of the skits found on the original cd. However as a bonus they added a song called Lift Me Up which KJ originally recorded on his first demo cd (the song being a remake of Flood by Jars Of Clay), as well as a song cut with Pigeon John and John Reuben called All Around The World (which should've been left off the cd in my opinion), a remix of It's The S.O.I., a song called 12th Round Knockout which was released on a movie soundtrack previously, and another song called Need Someone which I believe was also part of his first demo cd. This cd is pretty solid all around but if they had left They Know Not on and taken All Around The World off, it would've been perfect.

This cd has the nice raw sound of hiphop that was mainstream in the 1990's. If you like the goofiness of todays southern hiphop, (THIS IS NOT FOR YOU)!!!!!!!!!! Go to the kiddie hip hop section of your local record store to find southern 2 syllable garbage that people only listen to just because of the beats.

GREAT.......2006-02-16
I am not familiar with this band but I love this album. This is the funniest hardcore punk in a decent while non-compromisng way I've heard. And it should be like this.
After listening try not feeling like you can overcome!.......2000-05-22
More an experience than a CD. The band here is crunching away, fighting back, and still has time for lasting humour in tracks like "Je Declare." The band has better CD's but this one's intensity, both lyrically and musically, from start to finish cannot be matched.
