In the summer of 2000 Iain Matthews, Lindsay Gilmour, Jim Fogarty & Walt Rich became "ONE GREY FAITH" to pay tribute to the music of the great, late Sandy Denny. This is a very, very good one featuring most of her best known tunes handled by Iain & Company with great care and the production is second to none. Vocals are traded between Lindsay and Iain and both singers put in top notch performances. To say these songs are beautiful would be quite the understatement and that beauty is matched by what these artists have achieved on this CD.

Things begin with "Who Knows Where The Time Goes - Intro" right into "Rising for The Moon", "One Way Donkey Ride", "Brushes And Briars", "By The Time It Gets Dark", Acoustic Guitars sparkle here and Ted the Fiddle adds some tasty stuff.

Dave Swarbrick once said that he believed Sandy's song's were too personal for other artists to render their versions to her work. This proves Swarb wrong as this one was indeed done correctly.

You get wonderful takes of "It'll Take A Long Long Time", "Listen,Listen", "Solo", "Autopsy", "The Music Weaver", and concludes with "Who Knows - Reprise" to book-end this journey of song.

This is great music and is a good purchase, Sandy lovers will no doubt already own this one, but if you are new to the music of Sandy Denny, buy this AND pick up her 5 CD Boxset as well as it is a stunner.
