About the Artist
Known for his unique blend of turntable tactics and studio precision, Chicago’s playboy of hard jackin’ beats has been using his expertise to dominate the Hard House/Techno community across the globe for 10 years strong. Bam Bam’s production résumé includes seven legal DJ mixed compilations and appearances on over fifty vinyl releases; amounting to a combined total of well over 100,000 sales worldwide [Soundscan].

Emerging on the international electronic scene at the early age of 18, Bam Bam immediately began setting the pace for Techno and Hard House producers throughout the US and Europe. In 1997 Chicago-based label, UC Music, signed Bam Bam to an exclusive contract enabling him to release five fully licensed CD mix compilations including "House Blends" 3 & 4 and "Da Hard Beats" 1 & 2. While putting his name on numerous vinyl releases, exclusive remix projects, and working with high profile artists like Bad Boy Bill and Frankie Bones; Bam Bam became a vital accessory to the stronghold UC Music had in the late 90’s. With fellow UC artist Alex Peace, this turntablist set out to create the most aggressive 4 turntable act in music history and 420 was born. With countless tracks and live performances reverberating across the world, 420 is still in high demand and can be found electrifying crowds throughout the world to this day.

Moving his studio from the offices of UC to "Studio 956, Bunker B", Bam Bam continues to work on high profile projects including credits on Bad Boy Bill’s "Bangin’ the Box" and "Behind the Decks" series. Bam Bam’s natural ability in the studio has become indisputable and has earned him numerous offers from elite producers and DJs worldwide; all looking for the clarity his mastering brings to projects and ranging from Techno to Hip Hop and CD to vinyl. In addition to these collaborative projects, Bam Bam has done numerous remixes for artists like DJ Rush, Miss Djax, house legend Kevin Irving, Jamie Bissmire, and Paul Langley, to name a few.

2002 saw the release of Bam Bam’s sixth mix compilation "Do You Like it Hard?" on Topaz Records. The CD gained Bam Bam the praise from critics who believed his time, like UC Music’s, had past. This impressive CD hit the masses with the full power of Bam’s own "Hard" sounds and earned him the reputation as an underground legend. Proving he is a force to be reckoned with, Bam Bam simultaneously launched Bass Heavy Music giving him the ability to engineer the most influential music being released in the industry today while gaining sponsorship from SLAPPA and a new CD deal.

2005 will see the return of Bam Bam with a new CD entitled "Beats By The Pound" and an international tour hitting over six countries. Whether it’s DJ’ing in front of thousands or producing hits in the studio for millions to enjoy, our big brother of bangin’ beats will continue to be heard and embraced by many all over the world, for years and years to come.

I bought it for the extra cut 'Watch Out' because I thought it was hot and was hoping that more of the same beats/kinda tunes would be on there but it wasn't. It's definitely good but not what I was looking for exactly...
