Customer Reviews:
Immense soundscapes.......2000-06-25
Kit Clayton has been heading towards the future of music making for some time now. One of a few experimentalist technoids, he discovers a voice in music quite intrinsic to himself. Although his organization of sound isn't a rather extraordinary happening, it becomes clear that his music is fresh and has the ability to get you going, but also enables you to sink deep within your own subconscious, demanding a calm ear in listening to his arrangements. Going from typical techno breaks, to deep sculptures of sound in less time than you have time to digest it all, this album is filled with more dance music than his current sound manipulation efforts. It's a nice addition to a genre that hasn't offered as much cross diversity as this one does. It's dark, deep, whimsical listening that will have you wanting to hear more by this great producer. Check out his stuff on Drop beat records for a more underground vibe.
