4 out of 5 stars Marillion keeps doing what they know best.......2007-07-11

The second single of Somewere Else -The first one was the download only See It Like A Baby- is double A-side. With the beautiful Thankyou Whoever You Are, a passionate song for the new found love, and the hippy rocker Most Toys, that sounds like an experiment in psycodelia, it's energetic and fun. The songs climbed to the 15 spot in the UK charts, and 6 in Holland. Not to bad for a band that have been in the bussines since 1978!

It also includes the excellent track Circular Ride, and a live version of The Wound, exclusive to the single.

A great single for the hardcore fan or the new ones.

You will love it for shure.

5 out of 5 stars Worth the Money.......2000-03-21

This is CD single #2 for England. The cover is slightly different from the US version, and it has a sticker on it that says: "Strictly Limited Edition Ballads CD featuring Joe and 98 Degrees with Free Double Sided Mariah Poster." The free poster that comes with it is the cover of the Rainbow album, and on the back of the poster is the back cover the Rainbow album. The tracks are-

#1: Thank God I Found You (Celebratory Mix)

#2: One Sweet Day (Album Version)

#3 I'll Be There

The CD is a picture CD of Mariah in black and white. This is worth the money, especially since it comes with the double side poster.

    1 out of 5 stars A Natural Disaster.......2006-10-26

I remember one time this song (featuring Joe) was being played on the radio and after the song was over the DJ said, "Now that's what I call a natural disaster!" Then he chuckled and said, "I was just playing! It's a good song!" That DJ knows darn well he wasn't playing because I and other people even thought this song was a "natural disaster". Mariah was just better off doing a remake of "Make it Last Forever." Skip this at all cost. . . Oops! I just realized everyone has forgotten all about this song already. Never mind!

    3 out of 5 stars Incomplete.......2005-09-20

I like this song and the video, but honestly I think this CD-Single is totally incomplete. It has just three versions and as a bonus the song "Babydoll" I consider this song boring and blubblegummy. Tracklisting:
THANK GOD I FOUND YOU Make It Last Remix Edit
THANK GOD I FOUND YOU Make It Last Remix W/O Rap
THANK GOD I FOUND YOU Album Version
    BABYDOLL Album Version
The first 2 songs are edited versions from the original remix, featured at another CD-Singles and at her remix album.
Track 3 is the original version featured at "Rainbow" This is the best version
    Track 4 I don't like this song.

4 out of 5 stars really good re-mix.......2003-10-06

the orginal version is soft&Mushy but the re-mix is tight.Nas&Joe bring it on the Re-Mix along with Mariah knocking it out.Mariah is a really Good Re-Mix artist&I can't wait to get Her Re-Mix Album coming. Her voice sounds really tight here.a cool use of Keith Sweat's "Make it last".

5 out of 5 stars An Incredible Remix!!!.......2003-05-13

I have loved Keith Sweat's "Make it Last Forever" for years now, so when I discovered that Mariah Carey had done a remix version of "Thank God I Found You" with "Make it Last Forever," I was very excited! I'm not the biggest fan of the original version of "Thank God I Found You," so I must say that the remixed version is very refreshing and just all-round good. Joe and Nas did excellent jobs on the song. It's just cool to see how Mariah could take one song and totally change it around and make it something not only new, but much better than the original! I would highly suggest this CD to anyone who wants to hear an incredible song!

    5 out of 5 stars Banging Cd!!!.......2001-04-03

I love "Thank God I Found You". Because it is such a great song that we can sit back and thank god for senting someone to brighten our day when we needed cheering. I would like to thank Mariah for song. Because sometimes we can forget that we have people in our lives that really care about us. I think Mariah was trying to do for all that special people in her life that made her feel happy when she was down. I think that by her writing this she share this feeling of thanking her family and friends for making her feel better. I think that this message in this song should be pass on. Not to mention the Joe and Nas remix is off the hook.

      5 out of 5 stars Shania's Using Her Head..........2004-01-23

Although I don't own this single, I bought the full UP! album back in March and this immediately became my favorite song out of all the ones I liked. I immediately thought to myself "She'd be smart to make this song a single.", and therefore I praise Shania (or perhaps someone else?) in this review for being smart enough to take this great song and make it a single like it should be. I will not be surprised at all if it reaches the peak of the Adult Contemporary chart or goes high on the Hot 100.

      4 out of 5 stars My song!!!.......2003-09-22

To be honest,I don't own this CD-single.Because my country,Turkey has no single market and there're hardly any singles sold here. But I know the songs it includes,so I can comment on them and have the pleasure of being the first one to comment on the single of this wonderful song. When I heard this song on a radio station for the first (and the last) time,I got extremely excited.Because "Thank You Baby! (For Makin' Someday Come So Soon)" is my favorite song on Shania's extraordinary double album,"Up!".And after her first three singles, which are my other favorites, she began to release weird songs as singles. The title song is a good song (especially in the morning when I'm nervous),but there're much better songs which deserve to be released (my dear "Thank You Baby!","When You Kiss Me" which never makes me miss "You're Still The One","I'm Jealous" which is,to me,much better than "You've Got A Way" which I don't like much.).Also on her website I heard that her new single would be "She's Not Just A Pretty Face",which is in my opinion the worst song of the album. But when I saw here that my dear "Thank You Baby!" is released,I got very pleased.Maybe it's a promo,I don't know but even it means that this fantastic love song is appreciated.I hope she will shoot a video for it.If there were various remixes or at least all the versions (red, blue and if there is,green) of the song instead of "Forever And For Always" which was already released and live versions of two old songs. But it's alright. It's my song, and I want to say to Shania:Thank You Baby!(For Makin' This Breathtaking Song A Single)
