Justin Robertson is not only a global Techno DJ, he is a very brilliant chef who can fuse the differing ingrediants necessary to keep the sound of a boring world from sliding into the "corporate-pre-packaged sound" that seems to be the calling card for the next millenium.

This 'Revtone' album is a milestone. There are secret societies of supporters and fans who recognize and celebrate Robertson's very adept manipulation of both the New York & Chicago sounds, as well as adding a touch of neo-European sophistication. He seems to be capable of going well beyond any "disco" or "house" sound to cultivate a post-modern sound....perfectly balanced......Just listen to the sixth track called < < Love Moment >>. Production values beyond this world! He is the master and we are the students. And sound is his medium.

A perfect album before going out, or for your own party. Robertson has created a shiny happy album of shimmering disco delights, with the odd breaks'n'beats and cinematic flourishes. One of the few albums I've recently purchased that I've stuck on repeat. After years of mixing and various 12" and eps, Robertson has produced a worthy debut album.
