My daughter wanted a Crazy Frog CD for her birthday. I had a vague notion of what Crazy Frog was - I had heard one song on the radio. I decided to read reviews from other parents on Amazon, and there were many positive statements. I ordered the CD, and my daughter was thrilled to receive it! She loaded it onto her IPod immediately. There is something about the music that makes you want to listen, to dance, to hear more! I haven't figured out exactly what that something is, though. But it's fun.

I can't see where they are gonna go with this. I think burnout is gonna set in and the frog will feel the pain. Progression has to come from somewhere, hopefully from Comus and Miriodor.

My kids love this CD. And, when their friends come they love to play the music and dance to it. These are 3 year olds-8 year old girls. My eldest daughter has two CF cd's and they're played all the time.

Our kids love the crazy frog, and love to play it over and over and over again. Fortunately, the songs are based on a lot of funs songs for adults, so it is tolerable and fun, at least the first three times in a row!
Seriously, our kids love to play the music and dance to it, and it is some high-energy fun.

I promise your kids will love this CD and before long you'll find yourself humming the toons right along with them. They've taken popular songs and remade them into something kids just go crazy over literally! All the kids in the neighborhood love listening to the Cd's. Like their earlier 1989 Pink Floyd recording, this recording of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing Pink Floyd could have been so much better than it was. Essentially, it is a recording of a Pink Floyd tribute band backed by an orchestra. The use of electric guitar, electric bass, full trap set, vocalists and synthesizers detracts from the performance and leaves the listener longing for an actual symphonic version of these works. It would have been entirely different if it had been members of Pink Floyd contributing, however it was not. Therefore, it left something to be desired.

For a fully symphonic Pink Floyd experience, try "Us and Them" by the London Philharmonic.

The record begins with what looks like a very promising rendering of "Shine on..." until the vocals enter in the sixth minute, making you scramble for the "off" button - not to let your neigbours know you're listening to this unbelievably corny crap. And this is only the beginning.

"Money", "Time" and especially "In the Flesh" are pathetic, "Us and them" and "WYWH" sound like an interminable folk music evening on German TV, and "Another Brick..." is just plain bad.

On the other hand, "Hey you" would have been quite good minus the vocals. As for "The great gig in the sky", it is the only track I would call listenable throughout, the usual horrible vocals being replaced by a woman who can actually sing.

The problem with this album is not the inevitable alteration of the spirit of Pink floyd, but the absolutely APPALLING vocal performance and some painfully kitchy instrumentation at times. Well, most of the time, actually.

If you're a diehard PF fan - like myself - and think you can take anything with its name on it, well, think again. If you don't even like Pink floyd, you'll never be able to listen to this.

This CD suffers from the number one ailment of most symphonic tribute albums; it is only symphonic in the loosest, most liberal sense of the definition. I think a lot of listeners would agree that symphonic tribute albums should not be performed by "orchestras" which include electric guitars, bass guitars, synthesizers, or drum kits. Listening to a symphony's re-creation of a rock song should enhance the experience and expand the breadth of its reaches, not merely change some of the instruments.

    Classical music came from Europe. Jazz arose in the American deep south as a combination of multiple music genres, most noticeably black folk music and French influences. How ironic that it would take two descendants of Russian Jews to fuse the two together into a distinctly American style of music. The two composers are George and Ira Gershwin. George is the more famous of the two, but both by himself and with his sibling they composed multiple great scores of musics. Many of these have stood the test of time and are now commonly heard in the mass media; Rhapsody in Blue is the ultimate example, and it leads of this two-disc set. Other pieces were composed for operas (Porgy and Bess), Broadway shows (Funny Face), and movies. All of this and other works are found on this set. The recording is great, the sound quality is flawless and the compositions well chosen to provide 2+ hours of music. All told, a great buy for the price.

      My two year old daughter loves Crazy Frog and this was her favourite CD over Xmas. Note that there is duplication with the first Crazy Frog CD released, but worthwhile getting for the Xmas songs.

      You can't judge or a book (or a CD) by it's cover. If you could this one would be tops, because this is just a stunning babe up front here. Unfortunately, after you catch your breath and pop this one open you'll find lots of bogus synthesized pseudo-surf garbage. I think the folks who put this one out must have realized they needed some help selling this one. Hence the babe.
      "Surf Crazy" does have a few good moments. Tunes like "Latinia" by the Sentinals, "Surfin Tragedy" by Bob Vaught and "Surf Bird" by The Breakers keep it from being a complete bust, even though the cover is plenty busty! Still, there are much more cost-effective ways of getting these songs. Check out the absolutely top-notch Surf compilations "Big Surf" and "World of Surf Music" for example. With just these two CD's you get a large chunk of the best surf tunes ever.
      When you compare the best with this CD, you'd almost have to be "crazy" to pick this one up...well, at least girl crazy.
      So, if you are "strapped" for cash don't drop two handfuls on this. In rating "Surf Crazy" I won't go for the the juggular. I fully figure there are some utterly worse Surf CDs hanging out. The music doesn't stack up, but two pointers for the wonderful art.

      The first one was a ring tone extravaganza, with fresh takes on catchy tunes like Axel-F and Popcorn. This one is more a compilation of catchy songs featuring Crazy Frog, where the Frog is relegated to back-up and choruses.

      The versions of Queen's "We Are the Champions", the "Knightrider" theme, Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy" and Gloria Gaynor's disco masterpiece "I Will Survive" are the better tracks on the album, but "Nellie the Elephant" wins the novelty prize for pure unadulterated cuteness. "The Final Countdown" also brings back some memories, and anybody who's listened to K-Fed's album will snigger at the version of "Ice Ice Baby". Ignore the last four tracks - they're just filler material.

      Please note that this is the UK version which has a different track list to the US version. This CD has 15 tracks, while the US version has only 11, but the US version has two tracks that aren't on this one. (Cotton-Eyed Joe and Blue)

      I like Crazy Frog, he's CCRRRRAAAAZZZYYY! But this album is a bunch of remixes with the frog's noises as back-up to human vocalists. Even more so than the first album. But taking that into consideration, it's still a fun time. Just not as good as the past experience.

      I had the misfortune to hear Crazy Frog's butchering of Queen's "We are the Champions" at FYE when I was hunting for Yngwie Malmsteen and Children of Bodom CDs. I was about to gouge out my ears then thought to myself "People actually listen to this s***?" Apparently, they do.

      This s*** is even catching up with Slipknot and Limp Bizkit as some of the worst music of all time. All Crazy Frog does is remix decent songs with irritating beeps, bops, and boops and a techno beat to it; turning it to blasphemous tripe.

      This sells alot while artists and bands with talent struggle to sell 20,000 copies, it makes me sick.

      In the allmighty words of Eggplant; "I'm gonna dread 'I Love the 00's."

      Personally, I prefer techno remixes. However, Crazy Frog delivers a hilarious rendition of Queen's We Are The Champions. I highly recommend at least a listen.
      I was reluctant on getting it after the first video I saw of the Crazy Frog song Axel F. But it is a great album.

      Crazy Frog is evil and must be destroyed!!! I personally can't stand this craze. It should've stayed a ringtone and then forgotten for the rest of eternity. I can't wait for this dumb fad to be over.
