You want hard house? You got it.

DJ Irene's "Global House Diva" explodes out of the jewel case with its infectious tracks and bass-thumping, block-rockin' beats. It's a good mix of varying beats (but hard house all the way), spoken quips, and even the occasional bit of humour. It even includes a Tetris track, and who doesn't love one of those?

It doesn't get 5 stars becasue, as another reviewer mentioned, the track lengths could be a little longer. But it's cool to play to someone who hasn't heard it before and you look all cool and whatnot because you know exactly where the breaks are.

This one is much better than Global House Diva 2.

Hard House and Disco House!.......2006-10-03

Not 13, really 19, just havent bought nothing off here yet so it wont let me leave a review. Anyways...This is a banging mix of Hard House & Disco House. If you like loud noises and repetitive sounds, you will love this! The only reason this cd didnt get 5 stars is becuase I hate how all the songs are between 40 sec. to 1:40 long, with the exception of "Maximum Overdrive". But a good addition to any Hard House collection.

Once again DJ Irene has showed every1 out there what HARD HOUSE music is all about. With her hard hitting basslines, and her borderline GABBER she has taken over the hard house genre and totally redefined it. This CD is HARD AS EVER and is a great addition to any Hard House collection!!!

This CD is "BANGING"!!! Irene has once again expand the whole realm of hard house music. She has collaborated with not just hard house but gabber also. She has rocked many upon many of dancefloors and this CD has rocked my world. Nuff RESPECT to her!!

Well, to start off I would like to inform everybody that this CD is much harder than just "Hard House"!! This CD is borderline "Gabber"!! It definitly blows you away!! The elements in Irene's style are a little more organized than "Happy Hardcore", but not much. All in all, the CD is quite good. The high point of the CD is definitly Track 6, and "Tetris Attack"! If you like "House", you won't like this CD. . .too hard! But check it out, it's good!

Its been a few years since I've gotten this cd, but I still love it!
The combo of trance songs are some of the best for its time frame. A little mainstream but very good tracks. Like; Goryella's - Tenchi, Ratty's - Sunrise, and Ferry Corsten vs Armin Van Burren's - Exhale.
The house mix is also quite good if your big into house and of course the hard house at the begining is top notch.
Overall its a great cd. Worth the money.

at da beginning, da bass increases and den derez da intro.
den for 6 tracks it plays hard house.... den for 4 tracks it
plays some form of hardcore (harddrive). den it slowly goes
into some techno, den trance..... track 21 (you're the worst thing for me) den it goes into house...
overall, this is the best rave CD i ever bought cuz it covers all aspects of rave music....

Irene starts it of hard, the way she is known for, then she slows it down into house and trance. This CD provides a little more then just one type of electronic music. It will have you moovin and groovin from begining to end!

DJ IRENE DEFINETLY DID A FANTASTIC JOB WITH GLOBAL HOUSE DIVA 2 LIVE IN IBIZA.....IT TAKES YOU THROUGH AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY...THE REASON I LOVED THIS CD SOOO MUCH IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT JUST 1 STYLE OF MUSIC....SHE WAS ABLE TO THROW A LIL' OF THIS AND A LIL' OF THAT INTO IT AND THE RESULTS WERE AMAZING!!! THE DROPS OF DIFFERNET PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE CD ALSO GAVE IT AN XTRA TOUCH... THE CD ALSO COMES WITH AN AMAZING VIDEO OF DJ IRENE ON TOUR ALONG WITH SOME FOOTAGE OF HER AND SOME HOTTIES!!!! I don't understand how people can like this. Every song sucks. Every song sounds exactly the same.

You do the math.

If you really like beats. Listen to Hybrid, NuBreed, Plump DJ's, Infusion, BT. Please god get this kind of music off the radio and off the shelves. I've never heard anything so horrid in my entire life.

I like this CD........2004-09-07

This CD is good because it stands in the arena of house and trance. The album starts off like house, but quickly moves to trance and stays there.

That's why I have this album on my trance list.

Not only does it reign in trance, but these are not the common trance songs. Basically, this girl is good.

I have heard many other trance songs, but this seems to be on the top of the list. The songs have a greater feel, and delve more deeply into melody than others.

One of the best House CD's i've heard in a while.......2003-09-02

While I'm not too fond of all of DJ Irene's music, there is something to be said for her creativity as it relates to this CD. If your one of those people who misses good house music, and is tired of all the same trance being mixed over and over again, then you need to check out this CD. The entire CD just seems to flow. While it starts out with more of a progressive feel to it, it slowly changes into more of a Deep House kind of vibe. She really has outdone herself with this CD. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some good House Music.

This is not House Music by anyone's standards.......2003-03-18

Hey boys and girls, it's Dj Irene with yet another hideously layed out selection of beats that you'd be embarassed to hear any self-respecting DJ spin. As if the Global House Diva intro wasn't bad enough, the tracks are all sub-standard house selections and the mixing is barely adequate. Do yourself a favor if you like the hard house genre and pick up any Bad Boy Bill CD, because this garbage ain't worth your money.

This seperates the good house music from the bad (this being among the worst!)... as long as the clubs get packed, right?

if you really like bangin'..........2002-01-18

Like most house music, the underlying thunk-thunk-thunk of this album rarely changes. Most of this disc is hard house, so it's fast and very intense. I think I've got some pretty cranked stuff in my collection but this just pounded my skull -- repetitive stress headache. Maybe Irene is a master of this genre, but I wanted more beats, more highs and lows.

In a similar vein, I found Bad Boy Bill and Humpty's "House Connection 2" to have more interest. And I prefer the mixed up beats from DJ Icey and others.

Snap this CD kicks!.......2001-05-03

DJ Irene spins another classic mix CD with "Global House Diva". This CD starts off with some headbangin hardhouse that keeps you movin. Then halfway through the CD the atmosphere changes up and Irene spins some great house which will make you feel like your in the club. Go buy it, it's worth your money.

Bang Bang Bang Bang.......2000-09-08

This cd slams your poor wittle cerebelum. Almost totally relentless baring some transitions. A great cd to drive with. 37 tracks give you a lot of tunes for the buck however I wish it had a longer dash of metal head song 3. The Seek and Destroy sample just rocks. Its now a new favorite of mine though its been around for a while. Keep it movin'!
