I first heard this song in 1995. I remember folk trying to hum this dance song that they couldn't find because it had no lyrics by which you could guess the title. This was the jam! My father even bought a copy of this and he was in his mid-50s at the time. The B-side, "Single Minded People," is a little, sassy cut that was enjoyable on its own terms as well. This CD was definitely one of the best dance tracks of the 1990s.

Ahhhhhaaaahhaaa, hard to describe in words, isn't it!? Will never forget dancing in Prague looking at Jaydee live! This is a cult song. It opened up the scene for underground clubing in post-communist Prague. Plastic Dreams gives me chills almost ten years after I've heard it for the first time. I agree with you all! The musis in 1998 was much more colorful than now. We were much younger and we were going wild......If you know what I mean:))) Classics like that don't repeat and I am proud to have experienced it. It is creme de la creme of music.

I hear this song and it takes me back to the nights at NASA, in NYC, in 1993. For all who dance and for all who appreciate a perfection of beats and the layers they form, you have to own this masterpiece of music.

This is the ultimate club anthem! Plastic dreams is a true classic in many ways from its bassline to the melody. This song will never get old. I first heard this song in '95 and until now, I still play it. It brings back memories from the early clubbing world. Every DJ should have a copy of this song. It never fails...once you play this song, it will definitely bring people to the dance floor. whether you've played this in the past, today or in the future, it will always be remembered as one of the greatest club tune.
