If youre looking for a very relaxing, mellow and laid back sound Cafe d'Afrique is just the thing for you. The house style drum beat that is featured on a majority of the tracks keeps the entire album exciting, fresh and upbeat, while the melodic vocal melodies and synthy chords keep the feel of the album mellow and sophisticated. Its definite lounge material and would be a great addition to anyones party playlist. Its sound is very trendy and would serve as great background music for any social occasion. It is definitely a great representation of the New York City SOHO nightlife scene, while remaining accessible to the average listening situation as well. I highly recommend it.

The Distance label never fails to release absolutely stellar products. Their Porno Chic series is definitely no exception. Beautiful, smooth, sexy flowing house. Perfect for late-night, oceanside/poolside, or even tucked away on a rainy day/night. The presence of Kevin Yost on all of these is a sign of just what to expect. You can no do wrong by picking up any of these sets.

If you're into Jazz House this is a must.......2003-03-16

Italian Jazz House is the best there is. Innovative house beats, with constantly surprising melodies, and a rich selection of live instrumentation is the order of the day here. Low on vocals, like Jazz House should be, this is the wonderfully produced best of Italian instrumental jazz house. The IRMA Unlimited label is the king of the genre, and this is the best they can produce. Vol 3 of the series is better than the others, focussing on melodic jazzy tunes, as opposed to the previous releases which had a slightly more club funky house feel. Which isn't to say that you can't dance to vol 3... oh, on the contrary!

This album is excellent and great fun to listen. It's similar to the Hotel Cotes (estage 3). However, fantastic. Trust me you will love it.
