"Yeah Right" is so Wrong!.......2001-07-24

I was very disappointed in this tune by Jonah. The lyrics and the beat are EXTREMELY repetitive. I believe that if you are going to have lyrics in a song, at least have more than just two words. The remixes really don't help it much, unfortunately. I would highly recommend buying "Ssst...Listen" instead because you get a good variety of beats & breaks, and better lyrics. "Yeah Right" is a terrible follow-up to it. Don't waste your cash! If my review was helpful to you, then don't forget to vote. THANKS!

Good indie rock with a few pretty good songs - only for genre fans, though.......2006-01-08

"Dandelion Day" is merely a "good" indie rock album as it's very derivate and doesn't break any new ground. Fortunately, none of the songs are bad, and there's even a few pretty good ones ("A Wonder", "Head Of Steam" and "Traffic Lights"). I think it's best use would be as background music. The singer actually has a good voice - it's pretty soothing and shows promise. If they had better ideas and songs he could really help the band become bigger. Right now, though, it's just standard indie rock that anybody with a drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer could make if they wanted to. It unfortunately lacks some great standout tracks which would proppel it to a "4.5". It's not a bad album, but it's not great either - you'll be satisfied with it I think. It's only for indie rock fans, though. Recommended!

I picked this disk up when i lived in Iowa in the late 90s. It is one of my all time favorites. I often wonder what happened to Rinat and if she is still making music.

Everything I love about the 80's, the raw minimalism of the 90's, and a severe sense of humor. I have been playing Like A Tim's tracks on vinyl for years now, and finally he has gotten enough recognition to be featured in Amazon.com's catalog. This man is a genius and will be remembered for YEARS to come!
