I don't think this CD is as good as Das Testament, by itself. But if you were to listen to that and then this CD it would be good. Why? Because this is like a break from all that growling.

Its a very calm CD compared to the other one. Still good. But would probably be better to someone who liked soothing sort of music.

Well, none the less, I'll have translations up for this CD on my website (http://www.enomineforus.tk) by the end of this week for those of you who don't speak German.

E Nomine has produced yet another album that goes on my "favorites" shelf. This album brings back the blend of deep German recitation and Latin choir lyrics, as well as the combination of techno and classical music that made the other two E Nomine albums such wonderful experiences, but like each of the other two this one has a feeling all its own. Bear in mind, there are two versions of this album available, the Ultimate Dance Edit and the Klassik Edition. Each of them has a slightly different arrangement and one or two tracks that can't be found on the other. This is the Klassik Edition. In this version of the release, the sound is more on the orchestral side, with instruments taking the place of the synthetic sound that gave techno its name. A new female narrator (the German actress that voices Liv Tyler's roles in the German releases of films) and a larger number of female soloists, as well as a few tenors, provide more vocal variety, though the growling bass of the first two albums is still happily present. The theme of this album is harder to pin down than those of the other two, but it seems to be focusing on prophecy (hence the title) and the fantastic.

i first came accross e nomine in 1999, with vauter unser and i thought that that was great but this album is a monumental piece of work. the first two were wonderful but this one is extreamly extreamly a great listen. the female vocals are wicked. this album is a must have to all e nomine lovers. like i said i came across them in 1999 and i havent let go!!!!! sends shivers down the spine its that good. :):)
