Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars someone who has a small idea of what he's talking about.......2002-10-15

the reason why the songs don't seem to flow very well is because they arent supposed to. these are NOT all artists on the same record label! THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST HALF BRAINED THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD! everyone knows Orbital was, until recently, signed on FFrr.

this CD is a compolation of songs featured on the Aural Playground television program. this is why the songs don't fit together, it is simply a collection of tracks used on the show. the orbital track is simply a reworking of the original track, 'Times Fly' which was on another rare single release. It's a shame this track is so hard to find, in any of its forms, because it's one of my favorite orbital tracks.

let me make it clear that I don't own this CD, i just know a lot about it because I've been hunting for it in stores for a while now. soon I'm going to cave and buy it here.

4 out of 5 stars These other folks are being a bit ridiculous..........2002-06-18

Okay, so it is not a 5 star compilation. But honestly...no album that features Orbital and Coldcut should ever bear a one star review. These are two of the most important acts in the history of electronic music. Not to mention Fluke's track is killer. I have a feeling that most people would enjoy the majority of the disc. Check more recent releases from Neurodisc...it seems that they keep getting better. Peace....

1 out of 5 stars A total disappointment.......2001-02-07

Although I knew previously that I enjoyed a number of the artists on this disc, I found upon listening a disappointing mood come over me. This disc isn't very well thought out in terms of unity of genre types and musical style, In addition it seems to be, overall, just a mix of songs from one record label slapped together for the distributor to pick up a few extra bucks. I don't recommend this disc to the seasoned techno appreciator. I would return this disc if I could.

1 out of 5 stars Unintresting and sad.......1999-12-02

Most of the tracks on this CD are worse. The only good track I could found is the track of Orbital, but the rest is really ugly music you don't like to listen. If you want some more groovy music get Plastic Compilations vol1/vol2 its a lot of better quality.
