A great mix of ambient and industrial rhythms........2001-10-14

I heard a track by David Morley on an Apollo compilation, it was ambient techno, soft and smooth. So I bought this album on top of that.

I was surprised though. Gone are the soft, ambient beats and programming, instead they are replaced by aggressive kickdrums and drumbeats, somewhat industrial sounding.

However, don't be deterred. I still loved this album, so should you. Most of the tracks have strong melodies and the harsh noises are offset by ambient walls of sound in the background. Some tracks are ambient, but the mood of this album is one of restlessness and forcefulness.

A nice change of direction (of sorts!) by Mr. Morley.

Love this cd! Great songwriting, melodies, and atmosphere, and an ever evolving sound. Man on the moon is probably my favorite, but there all pretty unique and good. hard to say what band they sound like... maybe a cross between the beatles and rem... who knows. Anyway, definitley worth buying.... go seattle music!

Stumbled upon 'Tilted Blue' kind of as a fluke, and this record's damn good. Very catchy pop-rock, great textures, very melodic. Cool arrangements. They kind of have a 'Classic Rock' feel, although I don't think I could really explain what I mean. Check out the CD. I went to see a show They play around Seattle--fun live band too. Great musicians
