Customer Reviews:
Great CD.......2006-08-18
Terry Lee Brown is my favourite DJ. He mixes great music and really takes you on a journey in each compilation.
I love this CD, each song is perfectly balanced with the one before and the one to follow.
I also highly recommend this CD and Terry's Cafe 4 and 6. My personal picks:)
Perfectly.......2005-03-08
Sublime.
If you need to dance, relax, enjoy an intimate evening, or drive for an hour, this is the best cd to take along.
It takes you from deep jazz to dreamy tech house and back to funky driving minimal beats.
Terry may not be the best mixer, but he sure has great taste in the music he plays. Hats off to TLB Jr.

mines the rarely explored region of minimal house.......2001-12-22
Producer, DJ, and Germany's Norman Feller in disguise, Terry Lee Brown steers his third volume of the Café series away from techier waters, opting to mine the rarely explored region of minimal house, diva-less and without the deep-leaning pleasantries that veer towards wallpaper lounge. Here the focus is on warm ambience, of soft hues to color subtle tracks, yet with sounds perpetually floating through to keep the mix engaging.
Darn near flawless from the get-go, Brown digs deep in the record crates for his picks; only a star Theorem/Swayzak collaboration, the expectedly mellow mover "Day From Hell," blips onto the known radar. Hushed, restrained at times with tunes like "Fig" settling softly in the air, swelling with muted kick ("Locked to Fantasy" "Monk Sea") when hazy complacency threatens to slnk in. Add some Brazillian bite in the middle courtesy Debaser Boy and energy upswing near the end with the double-wide bassline "Tropika" and you complete a top-notch ride.
Which shows you how much startlingly wonderful music is out there for artists willing to explore beyond the critic-approved or club-friendly guideposts. Stretch on the sofa and enjoy.
ok, i get the picture now.......2001-10-03
it seems most of you buyers don't like house music or can't be arsed (=bothered, for those of you who aren't british)to write reviews. this is ONE GOOD CD, so good in fact that sometimes you won't feel like going to the disco because the music isn't so good and will prefer listening at this cd in your house-private disco! check out other cds by terry jr: i really like "from dub till dawn". long live house and french techno!!
the deepest.......2001-08-11
Terry lee brown's third intent its a very sucsesfull one. If you didn't hear the first two albums, well, thats too bad, becouse after hearing this one you wont find the magic in the other two.
This compilation offers some of the best deep house ever, with some deep vocal traks and some pure instrumental. its one the best deep house you can buy this year.
Its a very Chicago style cd but u can even hear some french influence on the selection.
Again Tarry Lee Brown Jr. shows everybody what kind of DJ he is, and thats one of the best.
