Dub, Reggae meet modern music........2004-01-28

Much of this music is set to the music of the Carribean, reggae,dub, skank, dancehall, roots. It's all here under the direction of these four musicians\technicians. The good thing is that this music doesn't have a "techno" feel to it at all, the fore mentioned influnces are allowed to come to the front. As I know little about the vocalist I can say that I didn't mind them either, and their vocals are easy to take in anyones company.
Despite the obvious influnce of Reggae this music is hard to categorize, it often finds it own groove in spite of what the beat may be.

Hard to define, but don't let that put you off!.......2002-10-10

trip-hop, dub, trance, I don't know how to classify this album. But if you can appreciate any of these genres, you will like this album.

listening to this album is food for thought. and in a rare instance, overproof doesn't feel like a throwback album, but a step forward. the beats are thick, rhymes insightful, the vibe cool. highly recommend adding this album to your collection.

This cd brings a light into the world of hip-hop. With all the garbage that gets labeled hip-hop these days, its nice to listen to a group with heart,love, and respect for hip-hop. This is the best cd I have bought in a long time. If you love hip-hop then this is a must buy. The verbal stylings of Eso Tre and Subz leave you wanting more. I personally cant wait till the drop antha album.. I will buy that too.

Dennis was and is the undisputed king of romantic reggae. His ultra-soulful voice really shines on tracks like "This Is Your Night", "Bubbling Sweet Tonight" and "Where Is The Love". He is certainly missed but has left behind an incredible legacy of great music.
