Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars A soup full of flavor.......2001-01-15

The first few tracks to this album sets with a dark style. You have Brain Bug's Nightmare played by an orchestrated group with stacato movements from the chello and violin mostly in flat chords. A great way to intertwine classical music style with trance/techno. Then you have the Treen N One - Sin City giving you a creepy feeling as if someone is crawling and lurking around (I'd recommend these 2 piece if you are into dark techno). Some tracks to keep yourself on a lookout in CD1 of this Trancemaster 15 are Red Sun - Amaterasu (foreignt sound but soothing), Velocity - Future (great piano scales), The Secret - Starkissed (almost happy techno, since it's quite fast and style is almost like the one from the Blade soundtrack), Mega Mind - Transconnecting (similar style to Astral Projection a GOA genre group).

CD2 of Trancemaster 15 opens with a mellow track Etner - Load & Save then immediately goes on to its wide music styles in this album: Ganesh, DJ Tomcraft, and Gollum & Hunter (very upbeat). The track that stands out from this CD2 would probably be in my opion, Trancelate - Sweet Music and Repulsor - Double Action.

So if you are into experimenting with a wide variety of music style within the techno/trance/dance/goa/happy techno I'd recommend this CD. I personally don't feel that this CD is as great for its Trancemaster series and could have been better.
