My fiance ordered this cd as a surprise for me back in 2002, knowing I've been wanting it for over a year... and it was really a great surprise!

If you're a fan of LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad then this cd is right up your alley. This cd has a very atmospheric feel to it and while the drums may be high bpm, it is a very relaxing and uplifing set. Instrumentally the cd is flawless, however I can see how some say that DRS's vocals hurt the review they gave. Personally I like DRS's MCing, some consider it random and sporatic but I see it as being a progressive freestyle and it matches the atmospheric/progressive D&B well (ie: MC Conrad). He calmly spits the rhymes freely as they come to him and does tend to repeat a few of the bars here and there throughout the entire cd, but I like that too. It gives the set a "trademark" feel. The 2nd cd is just as mind-blowing as the first, it's unmixed with no MC and they really open some new boundaries within the genre of atmospheric and jazzy D&B.

Bottom line, if you think you might be interested in this buying cd then I'm sure you'll probably love it. It's one of my all-time favorite cd's, nothing hits the spot quite like this gem.

these albums should be released with the instrumental tracks!!

as hard as i try, i just can't get into these type of raps over this type of music. the raps are totally random. in my opinion, the music is totally spoiled.

then again, it's my opinion.

good lookin & lookin good need to re-release these and other jams as instrumentals.

great cd...i highly recommend.......2001-04-13

real groovy, with a little jazz, but keeps the smooth edge of drum n bass. but the first cd, (there are 2) is slightly spoiled by DRS rapping over it. Some people wont mind, but i find it a little repetive and unoriginal. and then he would rap over some really good parts of the music, but not really complementing the sound. cd 2 is great though. that alone is worth the price.

this is a rather experimental mix of d'n'b and hip hop (without the yo's). the artists of goodlooking records care for their customers and therefore they produce albums that can be heard more than once. these tunes can stay in your mind for a long time . this is real art because it can change the way you look at things. a quiet masterpiece
