20 full length tracks remixed by the almighty team. Ranges from commercial dance covers of old tunes, to harder house and a hint of very commercial trance. My personal favorite is the slammin' 9 and a half minute version of "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Sheena Easton. Get this AND volume two before they are gone. Volume two is listed as Amighty Downunder(one word) on Amazon.

My lame title aside, this is a great dance compilation album. For anyone unfamiliar with Almighty Records, they are an English (I think) production house that releases dance covers of pop songs. We're talking over-the-top-fabulous dance versions. Hi-NRG. Fun. In addition to covers, they also remix tracks by the original artists. This album features both. Highlights include a cover of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day," and remixes of original artists such as Steps' "Hear and Now," Pet Shop Boys' "New York City Boy," S-Club-7's "Reach," Sheena Easton's "Don't Leave Me This Way" (Yes, a cover of Thelma Houston's 70s hit), and Kylie's Village People-esque "Your Disco Needs You" (written by Robbie Williams). If you want fun, impeccably-produced, high energy dance music that is cooler than anything your friends have, get this album.
