Hip Hop heads from every generation have all agreed on one thing: POSSE CUTS RULE! From Live at the BBQ to Scenario, the essence of the posse cut has left an indelible mark on the Hip Hop genre. Enter underground sword-swinger ESOTERIC (of 7L & Esoteric) who goes coast to coast and combines with virtually every other underground heavy-hitter in the country for the sake of the posse cut. JEDI MIND TRICKS, C-RAYZ WALZ, DEL and TAJAI of HIEROGLYPHICS, RASCO, DJ Z-TRIP, APATHY & CELPH TITLED of the DEMIGODZ, J-LIVE, PACEWON, BREEZLY BREWIN, REKS, J-TREDS, THE PRUNES, COUNT BASS D, and many more swoop in and handle business alongside ESOTERIC. Featuring plenty of unreleased material and a few rarities and remixes, this limited edition CD is a must have for any Hip Hop fan. A major bonus on this record is the never before released audio of the ARMY OF THE PHARAOHS ESOTERIC, VINNIE PAZ, and VIRTUOSO live on BAHAMADIAS radio show in 1998, right around the recording of the classic first AOTP 12.

Customer Reviews:
Too Much Possee.......2006-03-28
Esoteric's latest release Too Much Possee is another album of previously unreleased material. The album has a mixtape feel to it with the teradactyl sound effect before almost every song and the sound byte that says "too much possee."
Musically there are some good beats on the album. Eso produced track 4, and i was impressed. The downside to this album is that there are too many remixes on the album and they are pretty sloppy ie, track 10. Also, i'm not a fan of most of the cats he does collabos with, eso only does a verse per song with the exception of a select few.
The last two tracks are freestyles. They are terrible. This was from radio shows from back in the day when eso, vinnie p and the rest were amateurs.
But there are some really goods songs on this album. In particular tracks: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, & 13. If you don't already have this album i'd recommend you not buy it, save your money for AOTP's The Torture Papers. Esoteric is on that album a lot a spits a lot of heat on it.
