    OK Hnads down heavy / loud rock album of the year. This band has it all for the loud rock fan. After playing shows with Godsmack, Reveille, Static-X, Type O Negative, PUYA, The Step Kings, TREE, Madball, Eastcide, Earth Crisis, Nothingface, Spineshank, Sam Black Church and countless others, NOK is ready to hold their own. They have played the Massachusetts Metal and Hardcore Festival Main Stage in 1999 and the CMJ Music Marathon in NYC 1998. As soon as I got this cd it didn't leave the player for about a month. It is a regualr on the WTBU 89.3 FM Boston playlist.

    Working at a radio station and recieving NOK's album a little earlier than others, I felt lucky to here these guys before other people did (as music director of the station, i charted them on CMJ). If you are into loud rock and heavy music, please take effort in buying this CD. And do take in mind that I am a tough critic-paul....

    Repping Cincinnati, Ohio is Czar*Nok a Rap duo which consists of MCs HayCzar and Enok. "That One Way" (2005) a fifteen track release is their first album. The first few tracks on this release are forgetable, then Three Six Mafia help the duo out on "Throw Me That" a definite banger, feeling the beat and chorus. The tracks continue to be less then memorable, mostly because the MC's are not delivering anything new conceptually and do not have gripping flows/lyrics. The Suicide Kings provide some tight production for "Can't Get Out the Game", and HayCzar and Enok rhyme well. Another reviewer said they appear to be putting a good foot towards being mainstream, to me though they are delivering watered down music, with played out concepts. The highlight of the album comes from their guest appearance, in a track that is distinctively Three Mafia. I expect this duo to remain unknown unless they step up their game and bring something different.1.5.

    Being from the OH10, I try to support all the talent. I was really suprised by this album. It has some true Hip Hop feel, but it has music for everybody no matter what your taste is. They appear to be putting a good foot forward to be mainstream and get paid. Whether you like the club bangas, Underground Sound or Ignit Sh*t, theres something on there for you.

    I can't knock it. Its a solid project worth checking out. However, once they blow, I expect their music to be real watered-down and radio-freindly.........so I don't expect there to be any reason to buy another album after this one. They may suprise me though. I hope they do. Mad talented and creative.

    I dont understand how a lead single can be so good and the other songs be ok. The Lead single should represent what to expect on the album,I beleive, but I guess not on this because this is a Club Sounding CD, Gangsta, Pimp Tight and street money are my favorites

    And still recovering...
    I finally bought this album to see what the big fuss was all about. There has been so many rumors and murmur, especially in the Naija community regarding this artist. So, I decided to find out for myself. Frankly, I'd like to know why this was produced and even distributed. The artist was out of tune most of the time and seemed to be struggling with it all. The wording of this whole album could have used some work as well, it all was just out of wack...from her search for her man to counting on her or calling out or being lonely its like what the heck?! Is that the blue print of her life really? OH MY.
    I suggest that for those of you looking to buy this piece of work, please save your money. Stick with Sade instead, by her greatest hits or if you want Pop, stick with Britney!

    People are in a hurry to destroy this artist rushing to sites to post a lame review in cheesy mag like upscale. Why didn't someone come here to post the fact that T.Naija's album was named one of the best in recorded music or named Top 5 Jams in Sister 2 Sister? Even take a closer look at the upscale review, it was wrongly quoted! and if must add partially good despite the wrong quote. The girl is tight and I love her for braving the weather against all odds. The court is now adjourned

    This is the worst attempt at singing that I have ever ever heard in my entire life. She should be ashamed of herself. The least that she could have done is take some singing lessons for a long while before going on to make a whole cd. The only part that was listenable was the background singing parts. Who the hell produced this girl? He should lose his license to produce. He did this poor T.Naija wrong. She is a fairly good looking gal. Maybe she can go back to modeling.

      I've had this cd since July '98 and i'll say that it kicks a**. I talk to the drummer a bit and the new full length cd will be out real soon. This cd has 5 songs of pure kicka**. If you like Pantera, you'll LOVE NOK!

      I am a big fan of local hardcore music, and this was one of the first hardcore CD's I bought. NOK's sound is all around great. Not one song was bad. I would recommend that you go out and buy this CD if you like hardcore.
