After the massive success of the Tidy Weekender 7 Live Album in April, tidy have yet again listened to its fans and come back for one more album before the end of 2005. Tidy Weekender 8 - The Album, is slightly different from its predecessor in that it is compilation mix from DJ's performing at the event in October rather than the actual live recordings of their sets. The concept is designed to show the wider spectrum of music displayed at the tidy Weekenders and indeed the vast amount of talent that perform there. For this part of the ongoing "Weekender" album series we go with another three sets of DJ's: The Tidy Boys, Guyver and Ian M. The Tidy Boys are the vanguard of the tidy name and after the success of their TW7 Live set back in April we felt we just had to invite them back for one mix. The Boys certainly don't disappoint as they yet again supply a high octane hard funk mix for the Harder Generation amongst you and with it compound their legendary status within our scene. Supporting The Boys on Disc Two we welcome a DJ & producer who is one of the darlings of the tidy production family. Guy Mearns a.k.a Guyver joined tidy three years ago and since then has blossomed into one of the best producers in his field, clocking up hundreds of hours in the studio with some of finest of adversaries like JX, Lee Haslam, Rob Tissera & Anne Savage to name but a few. He has also had the privilege of remixing some of the biggest tracks in clubland including the last Ian Van Dahl single… Not bad for 21 years of age! Finally on Disc Three we have one of the Godfathers of Hard House, Mr Ian M. Ian has been DJing for decades playing in thousands of clubs around the globe from Trade to Sundissential and from The U.S to Japan. This man is a living legend within our scene and his style of full boar, no prisoners Hard House is on full show here.
