If you are looking for some decent happy hardcore music, try the Anabolic Frolic cds or the Bonkers cds instead! I just got this cd today and after I listened to it, I found that it was more breakbeat, techno, trance than anything else! CD 1 was the only cd in the set to pass as "Happy Hardcore" I would not recomend this cd for any happy hardcore beginner.

This CD (as with any of the Happy Hardcore series) has yet to let me down. I play this CD (and much of the other series of Happy Hardcore) quite often while at the dorm. Not so much trance as this is dance music and still I don't get complaints about it. This cd has a various selection of tunes on it, and some intersting mixes, but is not quite as strong as the other happy hardcore CDs (perhaps the mixes just didnt hit quite right with me, but I found them rather weak) and the base music the mixes were done to didn't quite make for an ideal dance track. Good CD over all, but not a strong dance CD.

Just my opinion:
This CD set is intended for people who KNOW what UK hardcore is or who want to understand where it came from. Its not like Chris Frolic one day picked up some records and UK hardcore was born. I would recommend these over a H2BH CD any day of the week. These tracks are absoulute classics and are some of my all-time favorites. I love listening to these CD's.

If you're looking for something along the lines of the Happy 2b Hardcore series you will be disappointed in this CD set. I couldn't find one decent tune on either of the two discs. Waste of money--I'd be willing to sell it for a dollar to anyone who wants to take it off my hands.

Well as much as I love Happy Hardcore, this cd didnt really do it for me. All the songs are songs that I have heard before, but they seem as if they were redone or something... plus the cd is not mixed. Oh well can't win them all, overall a fine selection, upon closer look theres much better out there. Now lets go make some pot pie and call it a night.

This album offers hours of classic happy hardcore from all the major harcore D.J.'s & producers, it makes a great addition to anyone's collection. There is one draw back though - if you like your Happy Hardcore - then you've probably already got most of the tunes anyway.
