I bought this album for the song Lowrider and La Raza but when I heard the song Feria (listening to it right now) I knew this album was a hit for me. Once I finally got around to listening to the other songs on the I really fell in love with it. I say you can't go wrong with this even if your new to Kid Frost you'll still find some songs on this album to bump :)

Frost has been called the Godfather of Latin hip-hop. Every chicano should hear this album. His first hit back in 1990 "La Raza" is a very deep song it's the first track on the album. I listened to that rola over and over again but it's so firme, it's like this song goes out to the whole mexican race. Other rolas que estas firme are "La Familia" which is about mexican families, "Raza Park", "La Raza 2", and "Lowrider" featuring ALT and Mellow Man Ace

Ive never heard frost before, so i decided to buy the greatest joints after hearing that he was good and it was a really good decision. The songs are really great, frost his one laid back eastsider. tracks like "no sunshine" are deep and other tracks like "low riders (on the boulovade)" are happy and have a summer, bump in your car feel. The album is great from start to end, think ill have to buy his other "joints". QUALITY!

Amazing record. From the guys from Cypress Hill, a lot of cool songs from Sen Dog, solo stuff and new stuff from B Real. A real good example of that West Coast hip hop sound.

        Album Description

        Rocking juke joint blues from award-winning Alabama bluesman Willie King. Recorded live at his favorite venue, Bettie's Place, down a dirt road in rural Mississippi, Bettie's Place has been described by Living Blues Magazine as "one of the best juke joints in the state," and King has been playing there regularly for many years.

        This CD is produced by Willie King and Rick Asherson, his harmonica and keyboard player from London, England. Bettie's Place has featured in several documentaries, including Martin Scorsese's film about the blues "Feel Like Coming Home," and it was during this film shoot that King and Asherson connected with the outstanding sound engineer Sam Watson. Between them they have produced a ripping, rolling, rollicking CD that captures King's down-home juke joint blues in it's original and authentic setting.

        One of the best live Blues albums I've heard in some time. The album sounds GREAT -- good recording, mix, etc -- Willie is "ON" and everything works. If you don't have this one yet --GET IT.
