DJ Shog And CJ Stone Know Trance.......2005-03-19

DJ Shog (cd1) and CJ Stone (cd2) do an outstanding job with this simply amazing mix of trance. I originally heard the first CD on digitally imported radio, liked it so much I had to get it. I was pleasently surprized to find that the 2nd CD was just as good as the first. Simply amazing mix, a must own if you like european trance.

the moment i put in this cd, i did not know what to expect...after listening, i was utterly surprised, and pleased how good this cd is. i was getting burnt out on trance cd's that seemed to stay the same all the way through with songs sounding alike. this cd changes throughout, with hard, club, and uplifting trance mixed together. this cd is a fresh change for me, and if you love trance, this cd is for you.

nice little cd, but honestly not worth the buy unless you can get it for less than a dollar. the songs are monotonous and unimaginative with a real lack in original ideas.

With Spanish compilations you can't go wrong, no matter if it's Technics, Blanco Y Negro Mix, Bolero Mix, or anything else! This is the 4th volume of the famous Technics:The Original Sessions, and it's just as good as the 3 previous ones. There are 4 CDs, each one beginning with a session, a set of mixed tracks actually from each CD. The first CD is dance music. Here you will find Gigi D'agostino, Prezioso, Cassandra, Alice DJ, ATB, Naive, Milk Inc or Sash!. The second CD is called "progressive", these are more trancey tracks. Topmodelz, Ian Van Dahl, Blank & Jones, Kaliya, DJ Dero, Azzido Da Bass, Future Breeze are names that speak for themselves. The third one is honestly my least favourite, it has house music. Still it has some nice tracks, such as Gardeweg, Tom Novi or Cleptomaniacs. The 4th one is called "techno", it's the spanish techno style known as Makina, a sort of evolution of the 90's happy hardcore. This one has XTM, Dani Fiesta, Juan Cruz, Lonsdale... I just regret that the happy hardcore version of "Residents of the universe" by Fraktal 6 isn't included, while the more trancey version has been included on CD 2 and they did include the same track sometimes in the previous volumes in 2 versions (for example, they included Object One - Connecting People on vol. 2 in both original mix and Free remix). But anyway, this compilation is SUPER, and is recommended if you like this kind of music!!
