I have been waiting a lifetime to find this recording on CD. I have the original vinyl recording which is aged and played way too many time. I believe that HOLD ME, SQUEZZE ME is the perfect AM song. Anyone who has seen here perform this gem would agree.

Slick, Sexy Groove.......2007-06-01

Paul Sabu produced the gem "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" for Ann-Margret in 1981. The cut has a smooth and sexy mid-tempo disco groove. Ann's voice was perfect for the song: rich and breathy. A song to share. Dim the lights, pour some wine and hold a special someone close to you. The lush notes of "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" will melt around the room and you'll want to dance slow and sexy.

Average Disco .......2006-02-22

The editorial leads you to belive your getting the 12 version of Ring My Bell. However, This 12" has been edited down from 8 to 6 minutes. The back of the cd also lists Feels Like I'm In Love by Kelly Marie instead of Run To Me. Since you only get 10 songs this is really below average. Honestly I don't remmeber half of these songs but, it was nice to get Roni Griffith.

Lovely classic disco. Found the 45' vinyl "undercover lover" in a thrift store for about £2. One of the best disco tunes ever. The album's nice too.

Disco doesn't get much better than this.......2006-08-04

I disagree with the viewers reviews of this cd. I have an $8000.00 B/O stereo, & I think it sounds great. Much better than all my cds prior to the mid-nineties. Yes the first thing I noticed is that the first beat of Undercover Lover is cut & the songs are slightly shorter. I was a little diappointed, but I've been waiting over 20 years for this cd. This label Has released all the Sabu productions. I feel they'er all impeccable. By the way, Unidisc has always been known for their import quality being better than domestic releases! I highly recommend all these Sabu produced releases.

this is classic disco at it's best........2006-07-09

Although the sound quality of this cd could be better, It still sounds better than the vinyl copy I have. I mainly enjoy playing it full blast in my car. Paul Sabu was way ahead of his time as this was released back in 1978 and it still sounds great today. The sultry vocals of Debbie Jacobs go hand in hand with the hypnotic beats of this disco-classic, masterpiece.

How disappointed I was when I finally got this disc and put it in my player. My first clue that this was a shoddy release was the quality of the graphics. The blacks in the cover art have an odd uneveness to them. I would not be surprised to learn that the disc inserts (which only include the back card and front cover; no liner notes or other photos included) were printed on a home printer by whomever is running this "getdisconnected" label.

When the first note of "Undercover Lover" began, I immediately thought that perhaps I had not listened carefully. How could it be that part of the first note could be cut off? So I hit the "back up" button on my cd player remote and discovered that, in fact, the first note is slightly truncated.

I was listening with a friend who doesn't even know the title track of this album that well, though he did recently buy the original 45 rpm single after I played him my copy of the 12" single. We both quickly noticed that the tape (or turntable, since I'm not actually convinced that this cd came from a master tape) used to source the cd was running fast.

Only 30 seconds into playing this cd and I was already lamenting having purchased. I continued playing the title track and was unimpressed with the sound quality. If this was taken from a master tape, the EQ choices used in the remastering were poor. This cd sounds much more "thin" than the original vinyl and, though I didn't think it possible, sounds worse than the title track does on an early Unidisc label compilation I have that is notorious for marginal sound quality. I would not be surprised to learn that this cd was sourced from vinyl and processed using consumer level computer tools to attempt to mask the noise from the vinyl playback. (This would also explain the truncation of the first note.) Even if this cd is vinyl sourced, the quality of the cartridge used and/or the EQ choices were poor since good vinyl playback is much, much better than what's delivered here.

The kicker for me was that when the title track was ending, I got the feeling that it was faded early. I'll have to check it out again later to be certain, but the fade certainly didn't match my memory.

If you're interested in this cd, you probably already have the vinyl lp. If you do already have the vinyl lp, don't bother with this cd. Perhaps someday Universal Music (which now presumably controls this material having acquired the MCA catalog) will give this a proper cd release. For now, however, the original album is the way to go.

Disco Classic.......2005-06-21

"Undercover Lover" and "Don't You Want My Love" were Number 1 Disco Hits back in the day. They still hold up today. Great release! Buy it, you won't regret it.

A DREAM COME TRUE.......2007-02-07

After listening to this version of "Fly me on the wings of love", I have to say that justice had been served. This recording is superior to what Hot Productions released in the past. Moreover, the inclusion of the original version of the title song. Get Disconnected is planning to re-release all of Celi Bee's albums. If the quality is as good as this one. It will be worth every penny.

With the variety of songs on this disk, I must state that it's the fastest 39 minutes I've ever listened to. It's disco, dance, pop and a tiny bit of R&B Dance. I paid $19.99 through Amazon and had to wait two months to get it. But, it's a pleasant surprise (and really easy on the ears). I really like the disc. Four stars!

Este sabado recibi mi copia de "Fly Me On the Wings Of Love", no lo podia creer, despues de tanto tiempo de espera y la copia incompleta de Hot Productions, GetDisconnected se decidio por reeditar este hermoso album de la epoca rosa disco. Hecho en 1979, y siendo el ultimo disco de Celi Bee en el genero disco, pienso que es su mejor trabajo y sobre todo hablando al respecto de la suite homonima del disco.

Dejenme decirles que realmente no encontre fallas de cuidado en la remasterizacion de este album, de verdad el sonido es grandioso y saciara el hambre de todos los coleccionistas y amantes de la musica disco. Solo hay dos canciones disco dentro de esta placa; "Fly Me..." y "Boomerang", esta ultima con un toque de mellowdisco, pero increible. Recomiendo al 100% este material, no duden ni un solo segundo y ordenen su copia antes de que este fuera de produccion. Los tracks son los siguientes:
