This is a various artist compilation released from Artistik Recording. Over the years this label has released a lot of quality freestyle music. This label's reputation for quality freestyle music releases is firmly established in the minds of die-hard freestyle music fans. This release follows this tradition. If you are a Freestyle music fan, you will love this release. Some of today's best new freestyle tracks are on this CD. The sound isn't new or revolutionary compared to past freestyle releases, but it still works...especially for those who continue to love the music and support it.

My initial impressions while listening to the CD were very good. There are a few stand out songs on this CD that make this a must buy alone. There 15 total tracks on this CD, 2 of which are interludes. I will rate each song individually from 1 to 10 (1-BAD/10-EXCELLENT). I will then give the entire CD an overall score with the same rating system. Please understand that I am not a professional reviewer and only wish to share my impressions of this CD with others.

Introduction

This is a very funny intro featuring two guys arguing about playing a freestyle beat versus a slow drumbeat. For me this represents the attitude of some folks towards freestyle music and I thought it was very funny!

Great beat, keyboard arrangements and great vocals.

This is a highlight of the CD here. Artie's vocals convey the emotions of this song very well. This track is worth the purchase of the CD alone! This is what freestyle music is all about. I felt this one, very touching.
