    YOU'VE ALL HEARD "DREAM ON" BY NOW SO THERE'S NO NEED TO COMMENT. THE REASON WE'LL ALL SHELL OUT THE BUCKS TO OWN THIS SINGLE IS TO GET THE FULL VERSION OF "EASY TIGER" WHICH APPEARS ON "EXCITER" IN AN ABBREVIATED FORM, TO SAY THE LEAST. AS FAR AS DEPECHE INSTRUMENTALS GO, IT'S GOOD. IT STARTS OUT SLOW AND DREAMY AND THEN SLOWLY BRINGS IN A MID-TEMPO BEAT. THE SONG THEN FADES OUT AND THEN RESUMES WITH MORE PERCUSSION AND A SLIGHT JAPANESE, PERHAPS, SOUND. THE BERTRAND BURGALAT MIX OF "EASY TIGER" WAS AVAILABLE ON THE DOMESTIC RELEASE OF "DREAM ON". IT'S A FASTER VERSION WITH WHAT SOUND LIKE ACOUSTIC DRUMS AND A LOT OF STRUMMED ELECTRIC GUITAR. IT REMINDS ME OF MUSIC FROM A CHEESY 70'S JAPANESE FILM AND I DON'T WANT TO BE REMINDED OF THAT.

    This CD was to be used for my May 19,2007 bride for her ceremony music.
    The CD arrived damaged and Amazon did not have anymore in stock.

    A mostly music compilation that sounds like a creative mixing genius put it together. Saddly, the wedding entrance march is sung in German (I think). Some of the music is a little "thin" instead of being "full bodied". The wedding exit march will put listeners to sleep. I wish listening samples had been available or I would have saved the money.

          Mandalay's music has touched my life in a good way, I feel so relaxed and calm during and after listening to it. I loved this song "Deep Love" so much that I am using it as a theme for my masquerade ball next year. She has the most beautiful sad but uplifting voice I have ever heard. I am glad that my friend introduced it to me. I recommend this song and her cd, Instinct to buy and listen to over and over again.

          "Deep Love" is a beautiful song, anyway. But this CD proves that Nicola's remarkable voice is not the only magic behind Mandalay. Lyrics, although not completely, are neglected to allow instrumental variation take center stage. This is the type of CD you just want to listen to while siting outside and watching an afternoon sunset after dinner.

          This cd is one of my fave's. I worked to it through all of my exam revision, incidently I did very well. The cd is an eclectic mix of trip hop all centred roung the hauntingly eerie voice of the lead singer. Sliding synthesisers and extra instrumental suprises make this album a bittersweet triumph for Mandalay. Buy it and love it. It will chill you out, make you cry, almost cleanse you emotionally. Get it!!!!

            It is wrong that this single did not become a radio hit. However, it did become a favourite in nightclubs, so it became a club hit.
