4 out of 5 stars the last song!.......2007-05-15

the last song! there are two full disc of fairly good tracts but the last song on disc 2 is loco way man!

5 out of 5 stars Tung tung.......2006-11-18

I like pop & dance music, and this cd is the perfect speed which I'm looking for, that's so great actually, it's worth to own one in your music world.

5 out of 5 stars A Memorable Mix! If you can spare the Money... Get It........2006-11-16

This was one of my 1st CDs I bought out of any other Gatecrasher Mix out there. Both the 1st and 2nd disc contain many memorable beats and remixes, yet it does take a few listens to really appreciate the entire mix. When I first bought this CD I felt some regret in exchanging the money for it, but after I listened to both CD1 and CD2, I felt that the money in exchange was well worth it. However, GC-GSS - Latitude and Longitude is a piece of art that will not appeal to everyone. There are some tracks in these CDs I prefer skipping, F.E. "Warrior" - it's a little cheezy - But there are many memorable productions and remixes compiled in this 2 CD mix. That is why I round this out to a 5, because on 1st impression I was very doubtful but now it is one of my irreplacable Jems in my music collection because the Mix was just that excellent. To anyone who is looking to purchase these CDs, if you can spare the money... It's worth it!

Last but not least, One recommendation: Gatecrasher Wet is a nice compilation. If your a little too hesitant to buy Gatecrasher Global Sound System: Latitude and Longitude, you shouldn't be disappointed with Gatecrasher Wet. - Odd name but excellent beats.

5 out of 5 stars Insert, Raise Volume to Highest Setting, Play.......2003-06-26

Having owned almost all of the gatecrasher CDs, I must share that this is among the top three. The BPMs are perfect, as are the synthesizers, vocals, and melodies. Sure, some of these tracks are on other CDs, but then again, there is only one Gatecrasher sound. Enjoy...

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good set.......2002-09-09

4 stars should say it all. Not a bad set at all, especially after a few disappointments like Digital/Black, and Experience 2002. Very nice selection of tracks, especially on CD #1. Mixing as always very precise. Second CD deserves a 3 star rating, as it gets a bit boring and heavy at the end. Overall a very decent compilation. Don't expect to be blown away by it, but nevertheless very enjoyable experience overall.

5 out of 5 stars Gatecrasher GSS......Touching all angles of Trance.......2001-04-27

Im am a total trance head and have been listening to electronic music for a good four years. This is the second Gatecrasher cd I have purchased and I am not the least bit dissapointed. Trance is a very interesting form of electronic music because there are many diferent forms of trance. This cd touches just about all of them. The first cd includes super club mixes like BT's Dreaming remix, and Love has to Come witch is a great form of vocal trance. But the second cd is where it really hits the spot. Silence is by far the best trance song of the year with Sarah McLachlan's amazing vocals. That song makes the whole cd worth it. Horizon is a buitiful display of epic trance. Number 9, No Hesitation is really progressive while number 11, Mutterkorn really brings out the goa side. Number 13,Isnt life Wonderful, has nice build ups and break downs. Number 14 is my favorite song on this cd. Its to late, this song is what i call party trance because its a song you would hear a good trance dj spinning at a rave. And to top it off, the last song,Dreams, justs makes you want to listen to the whole cd again and again. Buy this cd and you will not be let down. Its a true masterpiece

5 out of 5 stars Random Thoughts..........2000-10-10

The CD is nothing compared to them live...but it's the next best thing.

5 out of 5 stars beautiful music.......2000-10-06

Gatecrasher has some of the best trance music i have ever heard. Its beautiful music, especially Dreaming by BT....very VERY GOOD! You must get this if you love trance.

4 out of 5 stars What's the biggest in Wales?.......2000-09-14

That's the question a good friend of mine asked a music store clerk when visiting the Land Of Our Fathers recently, and "GateCrasher" is what he put in her hands. Now -that's- what I call customer service. From start to finish, this CD has you up and moving. I defy anyone to hear even one track from this comp and not be able to dance. It's not that this CD has universal appeal - Inside and out, it's a Rave-up - but this CD set has more energy and momentum to it than any mainstream dance mix I've ever heard. Sitting still while listening to this is about as hard as walking through a packed dance floor.

Eventually, you'll just dance to make it easier. :)

5 out of 5 stars This deserves better reviews than this.......2000-09-14

This is _not_ your father's Gatecrasher. They've gotten deeper, harder, darker and decidedly less cheesy. It doesn't follow the same style of their earlier CD's, and I wouldn't want it to, because 1) I already have them and 2) The club scene has moved on. Having seen the Gatecrasher world tour just last weekend, I can say this is extremely close to the music they actually spin at the club now. Compare it to the Ministry of Sound CD's which are basically a bunch of top 40 anthems strung together with little sense of flow, and this sounds much better. However, if you are looking for the more uplifting anthemic cheesy trance of 1999, buy their earlier CD's.

4 out of 5 stars Global Soundsystem.......2000-08-25

This is a good Cd, not fantastic, but good. Being a compilation which brings together many different DJ's, it is actually surprising how good it is. There is a certain element of disjointness to the two CD's but also some very good tracks which are mixed together well, this is seen espeically on CD 1. Tracks 7 to 10 are excellent. The album is worth buying if you like the Gatecrasher sound, but not so good if you want an album that works well as a whole. Personally, track 11 on the first CD rocks!!

5 out of 5 stars Gatecrasher: Global Sound System = Classic Trance.......2003-11-23

If you're new to the world of trance, then this album couldn't provide you with a better introduction. This compilation is pure quality and I HIGHLY recommend you check this out.

Containing timeless classics such as: "Silence (DJ Tiesto ISOS Remix)" "Mutterkorn" "Love Has Come Again" & "Keep Moving" I'm sure it will be heavily rotated in your music collection.

4 out of 5 stars Impossibe to sit down while listening.......2001-01-12

As with all Gatecrasher CDs, one CD far outshines the other, but both CDs are slamming mixes of some of the best trance available. This is definitely not your standard compilation with grooves you'll hear on ten other CDs, and if you have heard them before, they are the best mixes to date. A welcome addition to an Ibiza spawned collection!
