About the Artist
House Technician and Remix Junkie MersyOne has been a productionist and deejay of underground muzik for more than seven strong years now. Starting off with simple mix tapes (Mersy'z Mixes Volumes #1-7) back in his high school days, he has currently been focusing on the production side of the industry. Working non-stop in developing countless remixes and original tracks, his work can be seen in various underground compilations alongside industry heroes Armand Van Helden, Roni Size, Janet Jackson, and dj Premiere. Aside from his skills with as a remix artist, MersyOne has also proved himself on the decks as a semi-turntablist; possessing fast and furious scratching techniques, complex beat juggling, and quick smooth blends to keep crowds involved. Having taken his name from his ol' skool graffiti alias, "MersyOne" had his big breaks when he attended the "2am Artist Management Annual Talent Showcase 2001" in Massachusetts and "ElectroSand" in Cancun, Mexico where! he was graced by the likes of the presses. Back in his hometown, he has played at various nightclubs including The Cabana Room, Club Bash, Sanctuary, Club FM, The Blue Ice, The Roxy, 60 South, Club Pulse, and Cervantes.
