Customer Reviews:
nice!.......2007-06-20
I like this... there is a compilation I found on itunes called "EURO CLUB HITS VOL. 1" that has more stuff like this, even better some of it
Cheesy and predictable .......2007-06-17
I used to be a big fan of trance music a few years ago but as time went on, the genre became stale and dull. Every trance artist used that same tiresome recipe of a male programmer/dj and a female singer. I can't tell one Euro pop act from another nowadays. They all sound alike. No wonder their careers don't last for more than two albums. Cascada follows that same cookie cutter, formulaic recipe that made their peers like 4 Strings and their tiresome ilk popular.
I have to admit Cascada's music is quite melodic. The pop hooks quickly got stuck in my head. It is hard not want to dance to this music. Unfortunately everything else sounds generic and lifeless. Cascada offers nothing new or original. Was it really necessary to cover that treacly Savage Garden ballad "Truly, Madly, Deeply"? I did though like their cover of Kim Wilde's "Kids in America" but how many times can that song be covered? Obviously not enough.
Cascada quickly reminded me why I no longer listen to vocal trance music any more. It all sounds the same. This genre needs to die quickly.
This Album will Leave You Speechless.......2007-06-04
Wow. I was speechless when I bought the new Cascada "Every time We touch" album. Her songs and lyrics are amazing and I know you'll love them. Men, want to show a sensitive side, and show her you care and you know what a woman likes? Well, I recommend buying her these great tracks that she is sure to love. What woman wouldn't want this, Cascada is a great singer no matter what genre you like. This album includes the tracks "Every Time We Touch", "Kids In America", and a spectactular remake of "Truly Madly Deeply", a song you and your partner will love to listen to together. Buy it for yourself or as a gift, either way, you can't go wrong.
Music for SCUM........2007-04-02
It's not often that you hate a record after the first few seconds, but that's exactly what happened here. Not for the music itself though.. let me explain.
First of all - the actual music is AWFUL. Tinny, flat sound with as much depth, charm and passion as a Happy Meal. Dull, formulaic drivel that consists of cover after cover - take a famous song, strap a instantly dated techno beat behind it, get token blonde to sing the vocals and voila - one super-suck album.
As the official Room 101 of Amazon, The Curmudgeon has access to many exclusive things. And so here is an actual excert from the recording studio where this travesty was recorded...
"What's that? Oh - 'Truly Madly Deeply' - that's a song that people who don't actually like music will know - cover that. Oh, and Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America' - that's got a good chorus, hasn't it. Let's cover that too. 'How Do You Do' by Roxette. What the hell - cover it. We really are making a worthwhile and quality album here, aren't we? Pass the cocaine."
But like I said - it's not the actual music that is so abhorrent - its the image it brings when you first hear it, of the actual low-life, teenage single mother SCUM who will buy it.
You WILL hear this coming from some empty-headed yo-yo-knickered harlot's I-Pod. You WILL hear this coming from some clapped-out car full of thick kids in baseball caps. You WILL hate absolutely everyone who listens to this.
People who listen to this don't even know what music IS. Don't be one of them.

Cascada has Beautiful Music! BUY IT!.......2006-11-19
Wow, this is such a great CD! Cascada's music is wonderful! Such a pretty voice! It's worth buying....but only if you can take the same dance beat in every single song. The lyrics are fantastic but it can kind of drive you nuts aftering hearing the same dance beat in every song on the CD besides one of them. My favorite songs are 'Bad Boy', 'How Do You Do', 'Miracle' and 'Can't Stop the Rain from Falling'.
This is not Trance.......2006-05-30
This is the type of music that nearly killed Trance in 2001-2002. This is referred to as cheese or fluff. Please move this single into its proper genre.
Nice CD Single.......2006-03-14
I liked the cd so much, was suprised it was a single but when I played the cd I loved it. A few weeks later I got the whole cd and the whole cd is wonderful as well.

Customer Reviews:
An important part of any Gordon Lightfoot collection.......2006-06-08
If you have followed Gordon Lightfoot's music, this collection of songs rings true for a career that has lasted over forty years. The Title song "Harmony" draws you into Gordon's musical, life essence retrospective.
The most memorable songs move from temporary or perhaps permanent loss of powers (Harmony) to overcoming regrets and desparation and carrying on with some dignity (Shellfish) to a brilliant and timeless love song (Inspiration Lady).
I think Gordon was just having some fun on Couchiching (a song about his hometown), and the Hotel No. I'll sometimes listen to these for a lighthearted break from some of the more serious songs on this collection.
To the barbed criticism of another reviewer, I respond that "this is a comeback album from a near fatal illness." There are few singer-songwriters who have this kind of resiliance. Gordon is a Folk artist, and if one does not think his vocals are as pretty or macho or sexy as they were on Sundown, then they're missing the point. "Harmony" is about looking back at life and carrying on in the face of time. Listen to Shellfish (another prime track on this CD), specifically "There's still a way to go, about a thousand miles or so." Why do some people not want to hear that, or a most extraordinary voice that has been impacted by a near death experience?
There are tales and experiences in life that are the product of age and experience that are tempered by weariness and frailty and transcendent hope. That's what this set of songs is about. "Harmony - if you pass me by I will miss you, and if you can cry I can cry too. Harmony - have you gone away, have you gone to stay?" This is the gentle lament accompanied by old faded Martin that still sounds sweet.
There's nothing wrong with buying collections and "greatest hits," but to understand and appreciate Mr. Lightfoot, you should follow his timeline album by album (or CD by CD). It is a journey worth taking and "Harmony" is in its own right a key entry in our Canadian friend's brilliant contribution to folk and folk-pop-country music.
Wow, no wonder this is # 108,080 on amazon.com.......2006-05-08
Sorry, the musical part is tolerable but his voice died years ago. This is not the Gord I have come to love and enjoy. Nothing new in the way of classical Gord songwriting, so I was sorry to add this to my collection. He needs to give it up.
Still amazing after all these years.......2004-08-26
I was first introduced to Gordon's work in 1967 by a friend whose family summered not very far from Orillia. I have listened and loved the man and his work all this time. When I first heard Harmony, I thought it was a good album considering how it was put together. The more I have listened, the more I have been amazed. His lyrics still send chills and speak to the heart and mind. The music goes hand in hand with those well-crafted words. In many ways, I think this is one of the best albums he has given us. It truly is a gift. Thank you, Gordon.

Lustral- Everytime (Disc Two).......2000-12-30
Lustral- Everytime (Disc Two)
I still remember the first time I heard this song. I was very upset in my room and the song came on the radio. With tears streaming down my face, I stared at the radio wondering who was singing. The song took my breath away. It's the kind of song that makes all your troubles go away, even in your darkest moment.
Track number one which is Red Jerry's '99 Edit, was the version of the song that I first heard. It starts with a breakbeat, and on the seventh second, Lustrals beautiful voice enters the song. This mix will take your breath away.
Track number two is the Mike Koglin Remix. This mix is pure Trance. Even though it takes a while for the vocals to come in, the music keeps you dancing , leaving no dull points. This mix is wonderfully done!
Track three is the Timo Maas Remix. This mix is terrible! I know it's a dub but even the vocals that are in the mix sound distorted. You can't even tell what Lustral is saying until she repeats herself a few times. Even the highlight of this mix, which is the orchestra break is dull. If not for this mix, this CD would have gotten five stars.
Overall, this CD is worth buying. Red Jerry's '99 Edit and the Mike Koglin Remix are excellent. However, the Lustral- Everytime CD Single titled Lustral- Evertime (Not Pt.1 or Pt.2) is a better buy, featuring more remixes. Lustrals voice is amazing, and I hope the best is yet to come.

If it is by Fragma ..... Buy It!.......2001-07-06
Fragma has to be the best thing that has happened to dance music. "Toca's Miracle" & "Everytime U Need Me" are both huge. The album and both of the previously mentioned singles are awesome! The four vocalists all have outstanding voices that fit the songs that each have done, perfectly. If you don't own something by Fragma yet, then you just do not know what you are missing. I can't wait for the next album or single! I highly recommend any of their stuff. If you are from my area check out DJ Acid's CD "Gotta Have Breaks" and DJ Kid Prophet's CD "Triple Stack" for cool remixes of "Toca's Miracle". Check-out DJ Acid's second CD "Phiya" for an awesome remix of "Everytime U Need Me". If you liked my review, then don't forget to vote. THANKS!
I hate to disagree, but..........2001-06-03
I found this follow-up to the great "Toca's Miracle" a big disappointment. It's just nothing special. I know a couple of club DJs who agree with me. It just lies there. The remixes are disappointing mainly because the vocals are practically non-existent, which has become common place these days, it seems. Why would they want to remove a vocal hook from a song? Just makes no sense. In addition, this is just a paint-by-numbers song. Perhaps my expectations were too high because I LOVED the first hit, but this doesn't even come close in comparison.
This Will Keep You Dancing All Night Long!.......2001-05-12
Toca's Miracle was an awesome dance track, but, Fragma has far surpassed that with "Everytime You Need Me". The energy this song has makes it one hell of a party starter and Maria Rubia's vocal are simply amazing. It's a must have for all dance fans.
Great Follow Up!!!.......2001-04-18
When Fragma hit the radio with "Toca's Miracle" and "Toca Me" everybody was dieing to know what she had up her sleave next. "Every Time You Need Me" is hotter than what Fragma released before, it was so hot it was on the radio months before this single came out. All the hype this song is getting and is gonna get it only leaves us wondering what Fragma has for us next.
Track Listing:
1.) Every Time You Need Me (Radio Edit) = This is the version that is most comenly played on the radio and if its not being played on the radio, than it should be.
2.) Every Time You Need Me (Extended Version) = This version is cool it sounds like another remix. I don't think it sounds like the radio edit or original. This is featuring tons of extra and fun beats.
3.) Every Time You Need Me (Above & Beyond) = This remix is fun to dance to but it only features a few vocals. There is too much beat and not enough vocals for this remix, maybe a radio edit would help.
4.) Every Time You Need Me (Pulsedriver Mix) = This remix is fearce and has a great beat, but once again there are not enough vocals on here. If I had to choose a favorite remix, this would probably it because the beats are so incredible.
5.) Every Time You Need Me (Jam X & De Leon's Dumonde Rmx) = This remix is a bit fast and has a dark crazy feel to it, but this remix has the least vocals out of all of the remixes. I think you should all check this single out, you would probably be feelin' just like me. I can't wait to see what Fragma's gonna release next, but while I wait I'm sticking with this hot track!!!

You betta DO SOMETHIN'!!.......2005-11-19
Hit single off her greatest hits album. The b-side is "Everytime," which is the saddest breakup song in the world. Imagine: two classic singles from one amazing artist for an affordable price. It gets no better than this.
Other than the edited remix, this is a slammin club track.......2005-10-28
The fact that this is a britney spears track is irrelevant if you love dance music. Simply put, it is HOT.
It's really unfortunate that they had to give us the edit of the DJ Monk mix. Even so, while that mix is good, it is the Thick Vocal mix that is going to blow your mind. A throbbing, driving electro dance vibe, this is one that would have your body freaking out on the dancefloor. Plus, you get the added bonus of the previously hard to get Valentin mix of Everytime as a bonus.
Britney Does Somethin' Amazing!.......2005-10-12
Where do I start. First of, like Britney or hate her, she has pretty much dominated the music industry for the past Five years.
Now, we all know there are plenty of you out there who like to criticise Britney, whether for her outrageous acts, her seemingly unrestrained sexual exploits or whatever else you people like to throw, but you seem to fail to realise the women standing on the receiving end of your vicious swipes.
Britney is very young and has I would presume, had an amazing opportunity with such magnitude of fame so quickly; who are you to dare judge her or treat her as a focus for morals and values.
Yes, Britney may well be an icon to many other younger women, but is surely _NOT_ her job to teach or provide an appropriate role model; are you an appropriate role model in your actions?
Britney is a young women who has had an amazing opportunity. Nobody, repeat nobody forces you to listen to her music or accept what she stands for. If you don't appreciate, like or accept the image or connotations of her then that is your own business, it does not give you the right to criticise her and it certainly does not give you the right to have expectations of her!
You people criticise her because of her music. It's either too Pop, or it's too much trying to be Hip/Hop or whatever else, but this is the music industry. Britney is there first and foremost to earn a living. Yes, Britney may be considered a Pop artist, that doesn't mean she is unable or not entitled to use influences of other music genres in her music. So damn what if 'Do Somethin' may be considered a little 'Rock'; it sounds brilliant.
I've heard people say 'this song is dumb', well Can't Get You Out of My Head may be considered dumb but that was an instant hit. Christmas carols may be considered dumb but we still sing them. This is not a question of the song being 'dumb'.
The very fact we're all sat here discussing Britney only goes to reinforce the massive impact she has had on our society. You say you dislike her, if that's so you wouldn't waste your time writing up posts about her, only to inform us you 'didn't like her song'.
Britney, to some people, will never be able to do right from wrong. Whatever direction she goes in she will be under the pointless criticism of people like _you_. Well, somehow I think with Britney's birth, husband and bank balance, I don't think she is loosing too much sleep over your comments.
Yes, Britney is mass marketted and that can be a little tedious, but Britney would not be there if Y-O-U people out there did not buy her albums.
Britney is the star that she is in today's society and the reason is because Y-O-U allow her to be that star.
As for me? I think it's wonderful for Britney and I congratulate her on all her success. I wish the very best in the future; for her marriage and her new born child.
Good luck Britney, and when you return to the studio, ensure to give the world that classic blend of Pop-meets-Rock-meets-R'N'B that we all love and enjoy (even if some people are a little shy to say!)

This is the worst song I ever heard. It's both boring AND ugly. My mother would HATE this song! The video is stupid too. I CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE COULD LIKE THIS!!!
