BAD - NO STARS - NO REDEEMING SOCIAL VALUE. (Amazon, please fix your rating system) Now that I am back from having my ears flushed, maybe I can get my poor CD player fumigated. This thing is supposed to be an import from Argentina but if it is, we had best treat it as an act of war unless they can prove that they just meant to throw it out! Not original artists, AND they have actually sucked out every bit of energy that once resided in the lyrics leaving only dried up husks.

This CD has cheesey re-makes of classic 80s songs. These are NOT remixes of the original versions. NO WHERE on the packaging is this indicated. Absolute scam and disappointment.
What a disappointment.......2005-10-07
Reading the ad at amazon looking at the track listing, I hardly could await the arrival of the cd to listen to it. But what a disappointment. Not only the songs seem not to be under the participation of the original artists, but also between 2 min 30 secs and short above 5 min, most of them under 4 min. That's not my idea of a remix album. "Less is more very often" is a saying in Germany. This goes for this cd at any rate.
The remixes aren't very good to boot.

Here is a fresh mix cd that will always keep you movin'. Featuring 12 classic tracks, wonderfully remixed to modern club beat, but keeping that classic 80's vibe going. Las Vegas superstar DJ Scott Stubbs does the mixing, as usual track arrangment is perfect and mixing is spot on. Definately a must have for those who love 80's and or clubbing.

Poor Remixes of Sister Sledge Classics.......2005-12-17
By being a DJ I didn't want to miss the Sister Sledge remixes. But I was very disappointed. The rendition is so bad that makes this CD useless.
The cheapest remixes in town. They have used the wrong rhythms for each of the songs in this Sister Sledge Dance "Remixed Super Dance Hits".

I bought this cd and stil i cannot get satisfaction. The mixes are too elaborated. I like the old and original stuff. This cd provides such a modern sound which makes you feel out of the old groove from the Disco era created by the Sister at the time. If you can, buy another one. Which i did
These Classic Songs Deserve Way Better.......2001-05-08
It's too bad -- but the best thing that can be said about this Cd is: "at least it's cheap". These remixes are so far removed from the tight elegance of the originals they become nothing more than passable background music. 9 of the 10 mixes are credited to either Julian Synne or Julian Beeston who seem to have lifted the vocals from the Sister's concert album (rather than Edwards and Rodgers meticulous studio recordings). The production sounds sloppy, busy, and usually grabs nothing more than snippets of the original vocals. If you're a Sister Sledge fan, try finding the series of 1993 cd singles released for "We Are Family", "Lost In Music", and "Thinking of You" remixed by Sure Is Pure, Ramp, and Philip Kelsey -- all wonderful and faithful to the original versions. The saddest part of this whole mess: there are STILL no slammin' remixes of the camp classic "He's The Greatest Dancer". Damn!
