Album Details

Midnight Star was Formed by the Calloway Brothers, Reggie and Vincent, at Kentucky State University, Along with Vocalist Belinda Lipscomb. After Some Success, the Trio Fleshed Out to a Septet and Finally Hit it Big with their Third Album "no Parking on the Dance Floor". It Yielded the Hit Singles "Freak a Zoid' as Well as the Title Track. The Success Streak Continued for Two More Albums, When the Calloway Brothers Decided to Go it on their Own and Formed the Group Calloway. Subsequently, They Hit on their Own with "i Wanna Be Rich" and were Some of the Most In-demand Producers Among R&B Acts. This Convenient Disc Collects Both Groups' Hits on a Single Disc.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Wet My Whistle.......2006-08-22

I originally bought this disc for the 5+ minutes version of "Playmates." For me "Playmates" is a very infectuous dance tune. Overall, a very good import disc - Funny how we have to go overseas for better "American" product. Four stars!
