Product Description
Cocoon Recordings continues its highly successful series In the Mix with Funk DVoid, an artist who has proven that he can do some serious damage to the dancefloor. Playing the Cocoon Club at Amnesia in Ibiza several times and literally turning the place into a madhouse made him more than cut out for doing the next Cocoon Recordings Mix-CD.
Lars "Funk DVoid" Sandbergs DJing style covers both house and techno seamlessly - technically adept in the skills of turntabling at a very early age, he was runner up in the Scottish DMC finals twice running at the end of the 80's. He is at home playing in funky small house clubs as he is at playing chaotic tech-beats to 40,000 people at a festival.
With over 14 years experience as a DJ he has no problem in how to read a crowd and react accordingly, the proof being the diary containing his dates for playing out - one of the hardest workers in the business. The Mix is a completely rounded piece of work, totally made without plugins or computers - but with excellent development and a very good overview of the jewels currently residing in Funk D'Void's record box.
