About the Artist
WARD need to be Richard Williams (Calvados Beam Trio) and David Meme (MEME) in a collaborative experimental electronica project. They formed WARD in 1998 after writing Bare Stanhope in Islington, London. David and Richard originally met in the 1970s in Birmingham sharing a love of the Sinclair Spectrum 48k (Rubber key version). After many hours listening to Attic Attak they developed a shared interest in electronic music. Many years later they got back together to form WARD with Bare Stanhope their first (non) release. They have released on Static Caravan and LOCA records.
