OK World Music.......2007-03-10

I was hoping for something refreshing but the songs on this cd sound like synthetic versions of everything else out there. It's not a bad cd, it's enjoyable, just not what I expected.

Chill-out Around the World.......2004-02-21

This new CD from the Sequoia Groove sublabel of Sequoia Records is incredibly sumptuous with some delectibly tasty grooves from around the world. There are so many different textures and flavors that go into this amazingly unique selection of down-tempo chill-out tracks it's like a sonic feast for the senses.

As a huge fan of down-tempo lounge music I especially like tracks from Tya (who I am looking forward to hearing more from), Gingko Garden and Alquimia & Rodelius. The Sequoia Groove label continues putting out an incedible blend of spiritually rich down-tempo tracks blending the best of indigineous world sounds with the latest in smooth electonica from a variety of unique and rare artists creating rich vibes perfect for hanging loose on those late night adventures with your party pals and World Groove Mix Volume 1 is a perfect example of this. Get it.

Very Good.......2007-05-01

This is one heck-of-a-good compiliation. Everytime I hear "Can U Feel", it makes me glad I love trance...

You can do much, much better........2002-02-26

I had to force myself to listen to this 2CD set a second time. There really is nothing on this album that works for me. I'm into the progressive/epic trance, and this is neither. It is dark sounding, and doen't give any upbeat energy and emotion that I like in my music. Everyone has different tastes, so maybe this will work for you, but for me it didn't. Take a look at the reviews for Tisto, Acosta, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha/Digweed, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Micro, etc. If these artists are more your style of trance, stay away from this one.

Best Trance Ever.......2001-09-14

This cd is one of a kind and a great addition to any techno, trance or club music listener. This double cd is definatly worth it with great beats and music you just want to get up and dance to. The songs are mixed perfectly and blend well together and i can say that i like almost every single second of this cd. It gives my highest recommendation and is at the top of my trance section.

Flashback has to be the most awsome trance track I've encountered...very dark! I'd have to say it's a perfect blending of trance and gothic. Overall, CD1 is by far the best; the only track I can't stand being #2 (Witches)...I skip it every time. Although I'm not that into anything with vocals, I do have to admit, the few tracks that have them on CD1 do tend to grow on you. I could do without the more vocalized version of Mercury and Solace, though. CD2 is okay. However, Judy has got to go! Truly annoying.

As a whole, I'd have to say the name "deep" trance is fitting on this one, although you shouldn't expect the rest of the CD(s) to be nearly as intense as Flashback. It's a good buy for the money and one you'll probably be leaving in the CD player for a while.
