Theo strikes the perfect blend between acoustic and electronic resulting in this perfect, soulful, warm house album.
The nine piece band bring a live feel not present on previous Theo Parrish productions. The slowly evolving and subtly changing melodies are complemented perfectly by the hypnotic, floating vocals and elaboratly layered rythms.
This album should appeal not only to the Moodyman and Carl Craig fans out there but also to people who are into the nu-jazz sound. This may be dance music but you'll just love those keys!
