Poor Euphoria.......2004-02-10

Ireland Euphoria mixed by, Al Gibbs, is a bit of let down. The first cd is so good that it over-shadows, the second cd. And here is my main complaint about this cd set. The first cd contains actual trance music mix, and it is very good, upbeat and sounds great. I don't understand what happened in the second cd which is so horrible. The second cd is not trance music at all! It is more like dance/funk, (ugly funky music). I hated the second cd so much I felt like tossing it in the trash. Another complaint I have is that the sound quality of the recording is very poor, eventhough it is on a CD! You can actually hear white noise in the background of the music tracks, almost as if it were recorded off the radio. This is unacceptable! They should have digitally re-mastered the tracks to clean the white noise!
So this two cd set should only count good points for the "cd 1". I hope Al Gibbs wises up. Next time, he should only include all trance music for both cds! Not just one! And I hope the sound quality improves. I suggest you skip this cd and purchase the other Euphoria sets.
