Product Description
SNAP! have become a true ‘hit machine’ and amassed countless awards in the process. After The Power, Anzilotti and Muenzing released further mega-sellers such as Ooops Up, Cult of SNAP! and Mary Had A Little Boy on their label Logic Records, all of which soared to the top places in the European charts. Music for the dancefloor is normally regarded as an ephemeral, transient commodity: here today, gone tomorrow. Something that the Frankfurt-based producer team Matthias Muenzing and Luca Anzilotti, better known as Snap!, have now been disproving for over 13 years.

Rhythm Is A Dancer, another anthem, was the largest selling single of 1992 in Germany and England. Alone in Germany, the single stayed at Number One for more than ten weeks and was featured in the US Billboard Charts for 39 weeks in a row. The singles Rhythm Is A Dancer and Exterminate, from the second album The Madman’s Return, were showered with precious metal across the globe – even in South Africa, Malaysia, India and Singapore!

4 out of 5 stars Snap has dropped the candy dance and gone underground.......2002-12-31

When welcome to tomorrow come out in 1994 trance was still a baby. After the sucess of the smash single rhythm is a dancer instead trying to repeat the single's sound. They went for more of an underground dance sound which got them some clubplay by underground and rave dj's. This album is for more ravers and people who like mellow trance. This isn't for those people who are looking for a happy producer based dance act.I myself love the track rame mostly because its an indian chant over a trance beat which is hot.As a dj i like the album because it's mellow and great to play before i spin. Also the enigma flavored track waves is a nice mellow songs.

2 out of 5 stars Nothing like ORIGINAL- Mostly instrumentals.......2002-01-08

This is not the Snap you remember- Nothing like the style of -I got the Power. This has a new girl singer with a weak voice. The rapping guy is'nt even on it. Most songs are just dull instrumental techno type tracks. I would'nt really recommend this one. I rate it average at best.

5 out of 5 stars Music So Wonderful.......2000-12-20

If you are in to Electronica and Dance, I highly recommand "Welcome To Tomorrow". Some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life! BTW This CD Can be found for 5 bucks at any used CD store!

          5 out of 5 stars SNAP ! Now,always,forever !.......2000-08-26

SNAP! one more time excel themselves. With trance techno house world rhythms and heavenly vocals this album proves that there's mighty brains in dance music( much more than in any other musical rhythm). There is originality even when there's use of samples (UTAH SAINTS - love you GUYS !),which is not SNAP's case.Even the instrumental tracks ( GUITARIAN WAVES and SNAP AT THE MOVIES ) are a delight - total bliss.Unlike movies,Dance Music albums like SNAP works are proof that parts 2,3 & 4 (coming soon - rejoice !!! )are as good as the first one.Dance music is here to stay.Welcome to tomorrow.

          5 out of 5 stars Hidden Gem........2000-03-22

Snap produced three cds: World Power (1990), The Madman's Return (1992) and Welcome To Tomorrow (1994). I think Welcome To Tomorrow fully displayed their talent. This is a very good techno/electronic cd that makes Madonna's Ray Of Light seem tame. Just listen to the sample tracks and you'll hear. One of the best recordings in this genre of music, this is a must have for any rock collector.

          Album Description

This debut CD is the result of a five year project by independent singer/songwriter Dave Gibbs, who writes and arranges all of the songs with collaboration from top musicians in Indianapolis (another grassroots aspect of Gibbs' music).

The CD was recorded by Ben Vawter at Aire Born Studios in Zionsville, IN and mixed and mastered by veteran engineer/producer Bob Bullock (Shania Twain et al) in Nashville.

The first track opens with a 12-string intro and courses through a collection of songs about experience, place, stories and hope to a Power Pop anthem conclusion. In between is a concoction of original folk and rock with many leads and riffs that will bring you back for another listen.

4 out of 5 stars Welcome to Tomorrow, a very entertaining progessive album!.......2006-01-22

Welcome to Tomorrow is breathe of fresh air! Its a good one for the money, as there are no bad cuts on the album. Every cut is rich and entertaining. While giving it 4 stars, I wanted to give it 4 1/2 stars. Dave Gibbs has a gifted voice, and his mixture of old world light rock with his storytelling themes makes it not only entertaining but quite enjoyable in any number of settings. Its a mixture of The Byrds, Bob Dylan, and George Harrison, while influences seem to range on the likes of the Monkees and Hermit Hermits. It that sense it's very light and refreshing! Also shades of The Who on some cuts. It has a British folk influence, and is a very consistent work throughout. I tend to like all the cuts here, and it's certainly something you can play over and over at parties or any get togethers as it provides great clean fun. I think its a good start as his first album and will stand the test of time. Certainly an ingenious creation that which is not only creative, but shows the range and possibilities of what can be accomplished when blending the elememts of the old and new. This one should be a forerunner of a new genre of music. Lets hope so!

5 out of 5 stars Snap rocks this album!! .......2005-04-05

Although the song "Rhythm Is A Dancer" was a great song, I honestly think this one to be the best of their albums. It's a relaxing trance atmosphere and it's a great sense of comfort while listening to the entire album, especially while relaxing in a tub full of bubbles. It also spreads a "peace with the world" type of message which is good for younger children, found in songs like "It's A Mircle (People Need To Love One Another)". I love the album altogether.
