About the Artist
Conrad Askland has produced Southern California artists since 1989. In addition he has toured as keyboardist with Hispanic Grammy winner Freddy Fender for over 8 years worldwide. A veteran to hip hop production, he has produced over 400 tracks and demos for hip hop artists alone. This CD is his blending of hip hop and hispanic influenced textures, instruments and styles.
"This was a VERY fun project to work on," says Askland. "It gave me a chance to play salsa style keyboard on top of some pretty hardcore hip hop beats. It was a great blending of art and modern urban styles."
