Absolutely beautiful and altogether excellent!.......2004-07-20
The title pretty much says it all. First things first, the Bargrooves series can do no wrong. Everything you find in the series will be exquisite. Beautiful, gorgeous, deep and sexy house. Very, very sensual. Similar to the stuff being put out by Naked Music, Bar de Lune or Dolce-Vita. Maybe some Hed-Kandi's more sensual releases too. If you know those styles, expect the same, but perhaps even a little better. If you know the Bargrooves vibe, then you already know what I'm talking about.
Now, this set. This is an amazing package and undertaking. All four seasons, which by themselves are hard enough to find, brought together. You get them all. Each housed in their own fold-out cardboard box, 2 discs a piece. That's 8 discs in all of simply beautiful music, perfect for virtually every atmosphere (candlelight dinners, sinking into your Herman Miller, sunning yourself oceanside/poolside, driving with the top down, rainy nights, days, sessions with that special someone as you mess up your 600 thread count sheets :), you get the idea. It's got it all here, each cd as beautiful as the next. Then, a separate box containing all kinds of special goodies just for this package. I won't go into too much detail, but it's a totally beautiful package, all the way around.
I can't imagine this will be around for much longer. Each set itself is already hard enough to find, so you'd better snap this up while you have the opportunity. You will definitely not regret it, and will treasure it for years to come. Also, check out the other series of "places" in the Bargrooves series, Terraza being the latest installment.
