Reissue of the Jewel in the Xtravaganza Crown that Includes a Dvd {pal/Region Code 0) that Includes all the Videos that were Associated with the Original Release of the Album. Chicane (Aka Nick Bracegirdle) Presented a Trance Classic Set, Highlighted by the Dramatic Rendering of the UK No.1 Single, Clannad's "Harry's Game", in the Form of "Saltwater", featuring Maire Brennan Recutting her Dramatic Vocals for the Track. In Addition, the Meeting of Bracegirdle and Bryan Adams Produced the Classic "Don't Give Up" for Chicane (And a Stellar "Cloud No. 9" Remix for Adams).

I've do not own any Chicane CD's (they're not really available in South Africa), but I got 2 songs from a friend "Saltwater" and "No Ordinary Morning" - my favourite songs! So I decided to get this CD and I'm definitely not disappointed! Although I was hoping to get more vocals, as in the 2 songs I had. But still a great buy for a Chicane fan! And the DVD is a bonus :)

Chicane's re-release of the 2nd album Behind the Sun is a great album which includes the music videos released from the album (mostly which are hard to find) its is kind of a shame that they did not include all the videos from chicane. but hey ill take what i can get. definitly worth getting the dvd edition instead of just the album.

The DVD contained in this package utilizes the PAL video format. So, you'll be unable to view it on your television unless it can decode a PAL signal. One way to get around this problem is through the use of your computer's DVD drive and a free Windows program named, "DVD Shrink." I was able to successfully view the videos on my computer using DVD Shrink version 3.1.

      I saw this single in a store here in New York City and had to buy it. Never heard it before. It's just that I have every Chicane single released since "Offshore" back in 1997. "No Ordinary Morning" is such beautiful track and the lyrics really tug at your heart strings. Tracy Ackerman's amazing voice you might remember from tracks such as "Solace" by SOLAR STONE but, she's probably best known featured on the gorgeous 1999 track "Everytime" by LUSTRAL. The only slight dissapointment with this single is that there are NO REMIXES for this song. Maybe there will be soon. Cuts 2 and 3 on this single are simply remixes of Chicane's recent track Halcyon. They're ok but, I really would like to hear a club remix of "No Ordinary Morning". So, buy this single. It's a beautiful song with INCREDIBLE lyrics and I'm going to go and hunt down some remixes. Bye, for now.

      This CD is pretty fun to listen to, but it's not the same to me as Happy2bHardcore series CD's (by Anabolic-Frolic). Most people buying this (trance fans) don't care for Happy Hardcore, so those people will enjoy this very much, but I enjoy a fast beat and fun songs, and this is more "sit back and relax" compared to Happy Hardcore music. The music by DJ Tiesto is very good, and there are many other greats songs mixed here by Alex Gold. Not quite 5 stars, but very good.

      I had never known who Alex Gold was before picking up the Xtravaganza Mix. Quite surprisingly, he is the owner of Xtravaganza records, one of the most popular and well-known dance labels in the world.

      The Xtravaganza Mix is filled with some of the most famous names in dance music: John '00' Fleming, Members of Mayday, Coast 2 Coast, DJ Tiesto, Three Drives On A Vinyl, Paul van Dyk, etc. Alex Gold proves he is an undeniable professional with his beat-matching and key-matching abilities. For the most part, the records he chooses are both melodic and beautiful, not to mention VERY dancey. My favorite songs include Members of Mayday - '10 in 1 (Paul van Dyk Remix)', Coast 2 Coast - 'Home', Three Drives On A Vinyl - 'Sunset On Ibiza', and Paul van Dyk - 'Different Journey to Vega'.

      >> A perfect 5 stars. Alex Gold not only knows how to mix his golden records, but has a good sense of what songs sound good together and what order they should be played in. This is a skill only the upper tier of professional DJs can successfully maneuver.

      Sadly enough, the Xtravaganza mix looks like it has been highly overlooked. Hopefully its sequel, the Ibiza edition, will catch on to a much larger audience.

            Agnelli and nelson take you on a journey with this track. from gental begingings to the the soul soring hight of emotion. It's simply breath taking when it hits the peak. In melbourne this track is the anthem of all trance clubs. I have heard it mixed into hard trance and it's mind blowing. I challange you to stand still to this track!!
