The main problem with most dance compilations is that apart from a few genuinely excellent tracks, the CD is filled with commercial guff for 8 year olds and obscure singles that entered the charts outside the top 40. Thankfully, this is not the case here. The format is pretty standard, CD1 containing the 'pop' dance tracks and CD2 having the 'true' dance tunes. CD1 is outstanding apart from Aqua, S Club 7, Steps, Vengaboys and Ann Lee. I could include Daphne and Celeste in this list of songs for the under 10's, but their track redeems itself by actually being quite funny as long as you don't take it seriously. If you like your music with a hint of 70's flavour in it, you'll enjoy Fierce, Nu Generation, Scanty Sandwich and Bob Marley VS. Funkstar De Luxe as well as Wisdome on CD2. Moving on to CD2, wow! If I was nitpicking, my only complaint is that Fragma's entry is Toca me, rather than the superior Toca's miracle. All in all, a CD which has 35 excellent tracks out of a possible 41 is well worth your pennies.

this is a great box set for those just getting into dance/ club music...for the price it is unbeatable..5 cds for this cheap...they are not the best mixes in the world but the cds compile a variety of club hits...would recommend.

Don't expect to listen the original songs. This 5 CDs box set is full of remixes you have never heard. Many of these remixes are so terrible that you can hardly identify the original song.
