I bought this exquisite 2 disc compilation almost five years ago. I lost disc 1(my fave). Finally, I found it again! Even though I already have disc 2 I'm buying the set again! Believe me when I say, this album is well worth the money. A masterpiece! 'Ssst...(LISTEN)' if you truly know how to PARTY till 'Sunrise' (and you all know who you are!) You have to hear this!!! You'll be the envy of all your friends. If some tracks seem unfamilier don't worry you'll immediatly recognize them when you hear it. Ah, Memories!!!

The best club anthems 2001... ever, is quite possibly the best CD I have ever purchased. With 2 disks with over 20 tracks apiece, theres over 2.5 hrs of sweet music. CD one is more of a chill compliation w/ lyrics. It features Moloko, Spiller, and Nana. CD two is more of the well-known stuff, like Kernkraft 400, Darude (feel the beat), Storm - Feel the burn is the best trance track I've never heard, of course there's Jonah - ssst (listen), and a bunch of other well known artists like Olive, Moby, Fragma, and Paul van Dyk. Definatly spend the money on this one, I bought it tonight, and it's Tiiiiight!

I really think this CD was poorly titled. I picked it up because the title was exactly what I was looking for... the best club anthems ever.

I tried to judge the disc by what songs I did know on it, and hoped that all the other stuff was as good or better. I was actually excited that there was so much music on the disc that I didn't know.

I already knew and liked the songs by Delerium, Zombie Nation, Darude, etc... but very little of the stuff I didn't already know was any good at all.

When you hit the play button on your system, be ready to jam because the "Intro" will get you moving. The next song "Lady" will get you going if your not already getting the neighbors up! "Grove Jet" and the following tracks will get you going if your not already moving across the room...The second CD is pretty awesome too!!!! Great selections and for the price of a double set -- it is worth it! A must for those that can't get enough of the club scene -- this is perfect. Get ready to start moving...

Although some of the songs are the same as on previous Club Anthems CDs, it is definately worth buying. I bought the CD in England and it has all of the songs we danced to at the clubs. 666, Derude, Moby and others all make me want to get out of my chair and dance. There are a few songs that I could do without, and some that I would like to have included, but it is still worth the price (which isn't bad for 2 CDs). Better yet, take a trip, hit some clubs, and buy the CD there!

Somehow, my review of this went under the wrong Euphoria CD, so here it is in the right spot:

This is like a best of trance EVER compilation, and it's worth it alone to hear all these classic trance anthems meshed into one! It's nuts hearing Will I? going right into 9PM Til I come!!! It's like being at a the best trance club on the planet and just hearing all the best stuff being played!

Matt Darey is one of the best remixers around and it's nice to have him spinning all these superb tracks. Anyone who doesn't like this CD, cannot like the genre of trance.

To the reviewer who said if you like Digweed, Deep Dish, or Nick Warren, you won't like this, YOU ARE EXACTLY right as all those people are more progressive trance/house, which this IS NOT!!!

This is a CD for classic trance lovers everywhere!! Forget about the tracks being old, as other than that super slammin' track here or there that comes out every year, there aren't many trance anthems coming out that can surpass these tracks. They are NEVER played out!

An album for the newbies. The tracks here have been played out to death a million times in a million mixes by a million other wannabe DJ's, both at a professional and amateur level. Children by Robert Miles, for instace is one such track. Another is Sandstorm by Darude. Yes they are good but, personally, I am bored to death of hearing them. If you have never been a follower of trance or prog. house music, you will definitely enjoy this collection of user-friendly tracks. However, if you find someone like Paul Oakenfold boring and are into something more diverse like Steve Lawler, Nick Warren, Digweed, deep dish, avoid this CD.

Some may complain this CD contains only overplayed songs, but in my opinion, this is the best comprehensive trance compilation to date. Why are the songs "overplayed"? Because they are the BEST. GOOD songs are bound to be played frequently.

These CD is a must for all hardcore trance fans and an oustanding introduction to trance for those new to the genre.

          this cd suprised me with the way that it was mixed...it wasn't. the track selections are good, but they should have been organized differently. anyone who listens to trance, even goa, knows that the music builds up into a mass of jumble emotions, taking you on the journey that has made the music so famous. the cd's would be alot better if they were mixed instead of just stopping after every song. 4 stars.

          Absolutly amazing,"Best of Goa Trance" is key for anyone into trance. The collection of sounds are mixed together for a smooth combination of both trance and house-like feelings. This is truly the sound of the future. It is almost unreal. Every song on this CD is bursting with energy and the climaxes are truly revitilizing. A must have for any raver or anyone just looking for a great mix!!!!!

            This should not be labelled best of psychadelic trance.
            If this is your first exposure to psytrance try out some different sources such as philosomatika.com, etc.

            This first of all doesn't sound like psy-trance to me, and second of all, whatever genre I would put it in, it would also suck.

            I am a big fan of Techno/Trance/Dance music. It is the bigest part of all my CD colection of approx 1400 of them. When I played these 4 CDs, I had to force myself to listen to them just once. They should have named this CD "Goa 2001: WORST of Psychedelic Trance". Apparently I don't like psychedelic-trance music. But i did get my house cleaned up while forcing myself to listen to this awful repetitive music.. !!
