I bought 'The Very Best of Pure Dancehall' recently and it's absolutely amazing! The cuts, scracths, and effects by The Firin Squad are very nicely done, as every track iz outstanding dancehall taken from the ghetto streets of Jamaica and America. The tracks range from dancehall classics like 'Ring the Alarm' by Tenor Saw & Buju Bantom and 'Request The Style' by Top Cat to 'No Letting Go' by Wayne Wonder and the amazing #1 hit single 'Breathe' by Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul. The compilation is also full of urban, booty-shaking flavour and provides an 'out of this world' introduction to the old-skool reggae classics and today's most insperational genre of black music. This is a 'MUST BUY!' compilation for all the long-time fans of dancehall, as it is put into a neat collection of unique tunes mixed by The Firin Squad, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary (1993-2003).
