This ambitious, 10-track CD by the Spanish vocalist/composer Alejandro Sanz translates into English as The Train of Moments. Sanz's Andalusian-aired, flamenco-flavored vocals are backed by co-producer Lulo Perez's evocative synth arrangements and urban beats--with the help of Mana drummer, Alex Gonzalez, and Ketama vocalist Antonio Carmona--and other hip collaborations. Sanz teams up with Shakira on the spare, Brazilianized track "Te lo Agradezco, Pero No" and mixes it up with the rap duo Calle 13 and guitarist Juanes on the hip-hop/reggaeton-friendly ode to female seduction "La Peleita." The martial and moody video single "A la Primera Persona" contrasts with the rock-ish "Se Molestan" and the jazz-tinged piano chords on "Donde Convergemos." Alejandro Sanz is still the greatest composer in Spanish music today. This artist's music has definitely evolved throughout the years and in this latest compilation, Alejandro has expanded his music genres and attempted to mix several rhythms creating various styles of music. The simple ballads he once composed are no longer found; however, there are still some that remind you of his stylized thought provoking ballads. There are several songs Sanz decided to experiment with, which some people who loved his music may not enjoy; however if you are a true Alejandro sanz fan you can appreciate his genius in developing his music and lyrics. There are some very powerful songs and the lyrics are genius; however others are a little too experimental for my tastes. I recommend this compilation, probably not one of my favorite CD's from him but if you are still wondering about getting this CD, maybe just download a couple of his songs.

Nice music. Sanz returned to his roots and included excellent duets with Residente (Calle 13), Shakira and Juanes. Highly recommended CD.

Este disco no tiene desperdicio. Está formulado bajo el ritmo más maduro actual de Alejandro Sanz y la participación de los demás artistas (Shakira, Juanes, Calle 13) se deja sentir.

Si te gusta la música de Sanz, especialmente sus últimos discos, disfrutarás este disco sin lugar a dudas.

Well when i bought this cd, my first comment about it was that's good music, not a masterpiece but good work.

then I put special interest in the lyrics, and wow "TE QUIERO Y TE TEMO" is AN EPIC SONG, the feeling, the intensity, Is the passion of a couple in their love and hate moments, that's my song in this album, other good songs are Se lo dices tu, Ensename Tus manos, te lo agradezco pero no, A la primera persona, And en la planta de tus pies.

Great album, not his best but A GREAT ONE.

Christian Castro is probably the best of the Latin American Pop Singers of this generation. The lyrics and music of the songs are simply beautiful. Sheer poetry.

This Mexican pops stars shows that he is the best of the best with "Mis Mejores Momentos". The beauty of his greatest hits comes alive when put all together on this album. Cristian Shows the world he can be versatile as he sings jazz, pop, and rock with an incredible voice. After hearing this greatest hits album , you'll know why he was nominated twice for a grammy for "best latin pop performance" and was selected to star in Disney's smash movie Mulan (en espanol). This album will make you sing as well as touch you with its fulfulling poetry and feeling.

For me, the fun began at track #3, "A Baba," which shows Ze's sense of humor in the form of a history lesson from the "Head of the Century." Although this cd contains a substantial dose of samba rhythms and other traditional sounds, there are lots of odd touches that probably turned some heads when originally released in the 1970's. The arrangements of acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments are particularly impressive to me. If you are looking for elevator music or some other predictable experience, don't get this. My copy includes printed lyrics for only the "Todos os Olhos" portion. Probably, I would have liked it even more if my Portuguese were better or if all the lyrics were printed.

Eros, There's no other like you...........2003-11-25

I met Eros music back in 1993 when I first heard his "todo historias" album and he became my #1 since then. I have all his albums (the ones he has in spanish). I just wish I could see him live in concert, but he never comes to New York...God Bless his music... 11/24/2003

There is no other artist like Eros.......1999-08-14

This is the recording that first introduced me to Eros Ramazotti. Although I did not understand the language, the amazing nuances of his delivery, the beautiful melodies and arrangements, all combined to touch me deeply. His music is haunting, fresh, original, timeless...no one is like Eros. I have since bought all his recordings, in both Italian and Spanish, as his delivery of the songs is somewhat different in the two languages, and I enjoy both versions. I thoroughly recommend Eros- in Europe, he is a major star; in the U.S., largely unknown. I am looking forward to the day that he records more in English, which might open up this market to him and he gets the attention he deserves here in the U.S.!

It may be the best Eros' Album.......1998-06-20

I am very kind of Eros Ramazzotti, it is ten years i listen him. On all its albums, it may be the most beautiful. There are really pretties songs, like "Ciertos momentos". But I think the most beautiful song he never done it is " la buena luz de la estrella". Patsy Kensit, the women who songs with Eros, has really a fantastic voice.
