I grew up listening to this woman sing her interpretations of songs written by the great Juan Gabriel. She has a beautiful voice filled with passion and heart. I recommend this disc. I'm sure you'll enjoy songs like Amor Eterno, Fue Un Placer Conocerte, and Tarde.

I have listened to the music before, but today, I finally heard the words. I have heard many songs before that have reached my heart, but never one like this, that gripped my heart with such passion. It's not mushy, or sentimental, or ordinary. It's really sublime! Thank you, Rocio! E.B.

I first heard the song 'Como Tu Mujer' on a tape of various artists and I thought, 'who is this woman with this moving and powerful voice?!' So needless to say I sought out to hear more of her songs. But unfortunately on this CD I was disappointed by all the other songs. Then I noticed they were written by a different songwriter...I don't have the CD anymore, but I wonder if the incredible Ms.Durcal has sung anymore songs by the writer of the song that I had fallen in love with.

    This CD and Greatest Hits Vol. 1 are must-haves for anyone who likes latin music. This is the absolute best of the best in terms of salsa, with richness and depth, in addition to being 110% danceable. Their music is fun yet moody, topics range from silly to grave, and their sheer versatility is shocking. I am just not conveying how absolutely wonderful this band is. If you have ever liked classic rock, you will find something to like in Fruko, and if you are a salsa fan you will find your repetoire incomplete without this band.

    I can't stop playing Fruko, and I know you will become addicted as well!

      Este Vol.2 es el mas pop de los 3 vol?menes que han salido de esta colecci?n.Rescata temas que ?ntes no habian salido en sonido digital como...Marinero,Fruta verde,Bailemos otra vez y ?Porqu? me tratas as?? una cancion que Camilo Sesto hizo para ella.Sonido,fotos y seleccion muy buenos!!!
      No pueden faltar temas como La gata bajo la lluvia,Costumbres,El Canalla,Tenias que ser tan cruel,etc...canciones que ya forman parte de la historia de la m?sica contemporanea.DISCO IMPRESCINDIBLE!!!

Each one has its unique track listing, but never has a 2-disc volume included several lost songs, which were only available on records. Along with a four picture sleeve, there is a brief biography of the artist. Lost Songs include, Marinero (1981), Por Que Me Tratas Asi? (1981), Fruta Verde (1983), and Bailemos Otra Vez (1983).         During the 1970s and '80s, Jose Jose scored countless hit singles and albumswhich made him one of the most popular Latin balladeers of all time. "Lo Dudo", "Desesperado", "Corre Y Ve Con El", "Liora Corazon" and "Cuidado" are just a few of the all-time classics included here. Jose Jose is one of Latin music's all-time best crooners and this CD is a great compilation of his hits.

        Jose Jose's powerful voice, and his phrasing on these romantic baladas is a marvel. Though I've found an occasional CD of his to have "fillers", this excellent compilation is nearly 75 minutes of great music. If you like Jose Jose, you can't miss with this one.

        The best of the best are the 5 gorgeous Manuel Alejandro songs, "la Nave del Olvido", the rhythmic "Llora Corazón", "Donde Andarás", and "Más". These songs from the 70's and 80's will bring back memories for people my age, and the younger folk should listen and not forget one of Mexico's most unique musical voices.
