Great... but still not that good.......2004-04-07

Divididos' first album presents (as usual) a wide range of different styles. From the opening song 'Camarón Bombay,' which has a certain latin vibe to it, the band goes through 13 songs (11, actually, since Camarón Bombay is featured three times), each special in its own way. From funky tracks to heavy riffs, and going through an awesome cover of 'Light My Fire,' by The Doors. Songs like 'Ché Qué Esperas?,' 'La Mosca Porteña' or 'Light My Fire' itself prove the band's greatness, but still, the album is far from being their best. The songs are not fully convincing, and, what's worse, the sound given to the tracks is not always great, and the mixes sometimes make an astounding song turn average.
