Solo Rocio podia darle su voz a canciones tan magnificas como las que estan en este disco; para mi esta es una de las mejores recopilaciones de exitos que existen de ella; grandes canciones infaltables como AMOR ETERNO, LA GATA BAJO LA LLUVIA, COSTUMBRES, NO LASTIMES MAS, melodias muy mejicanas como ME GUSTAS MUCHO, LAGRIMAS Y LLUVIA, SOLA, canciones de desamor como OLVIDALO PERDONAME, COMO TU MUJER, CUANDO ME ACARICIES LLORARE, canciones alegres de amor como QUEDATE CONMIGO ESTA NOCHE, NO SIRVO PARA ESTAR SIN TI, JAMAS ME CANSARE DE TI... un disco que es exquisito de principio a fin y para toas las edades... sobre todo un disco para MELANCOLICOS... I grew up listening to this woman sing her interpretations of songs written by the great Juan Gabriel. She has a beautiful voice filled with passion and heart. I recommend this disc. I'm sure you'll enjoy songs like Amor Eterno, Fue Un Placer Conocerte, and Tarde.

I have listened to the music before, but today, I finally heard the words. I have heard many songs before that have reached my heart, but never one like this, that gripped my heart with such passion. It's not mushy, or sentimental, or ordinary. It's really sublime! Thank you, Rocio! E.B.

I first heard the song 'Como Tu Mujer' on a tape of various artists and I thought, 'who is this woman with this moving and powerful voice?!' So needless to say I sought out to hear more of her songs. But unfortunately on this CD I was disappointed by all the other songs. Then I noticed they were written by a different songwriter...I don't have the CD anymore, but I wonder if the incredible Ms.Durcal has sung anymore songs by the writer of the song that I had fallen in love with.

During the 1970s and '80s, Jose Jose scored countless hit singles and albumswhich made him one of the most popular Latin balladeers of all time. "Lo Dudo", "Desesperado", "Corre Y Ve Con El", "Liora Corazon" and "Cuidado" are just a few of the all-time classics included here. Jose Jose is one of Latin music's all-time best crooners and this CD is a great compilation of his hits.

Jose Jose's powerful voice, and his phrasing on these romantic baladas is a marvel. Though I've found an occasional CD of his to have "fillers", this excellent compilation is nearly 75 minutes of great music. If you like Jose Jose, you can't miss with this one.

The best of the best are the 5 gorgeous Manuel Alejandro songs, "la Nave del Olvido", the rhythmic "Llora Corazón", "Donde Andarás", and "Más". These songs from the 70's and 80's will bring back memories for people my age, and the younger folk should listen and not forget one of Mexico's most unique musical voices.

    Another double CD featuring more of Frankie's big hits. This one, however, spotlights his '90s work and is full of swinging, hot and classy salsa and is a sure bet if you're looking for good salsa. The lack of liner notes is frustrating, though.

        El Polaco Goyeneche is the best tango singer, after Carlos Gardel.He is revered not only by tango lovers,but rock,blues and classical fans, because his feeling,the extraordinary expression of his voice, even when he lost his faculties at the end of his career,made him an idol in Argentina and Europa and Japan.
        If you are a tango follower or not,buy this and its companion (volume 1). Once you get caught by the big Polaco, you will want to have his entire collection in RCA (remastered).
